Five hades, five tubs, four bullets. Go Target! Seriously cute, though. Good range. 2/5 or showing, 2/4 are red The mouse for. Good job.

Good job typing, too. Shades. Tubes. WTF. Red, the Mouse color. WTMF.

It was a cute idea but the main complaint that people have about the lipsticks is that they’re basically the same old L’Oreal lipstick with a Mickey sticker on it! The promotional pictures seem to suggest that the silhouette is stamped on the packaging but on the lipsticks, they simply put a black sticker on. And they are not sealed so anyone can open and swipe swipe. The lipsticks themselves aren’t bad and I do want all the colors but they’re out of stock of some shades now. Devil’s Matte-vocate Red has my vote for most wearable of the Reds.

This is exactly why I had this lipstick in hand and I didn’t buy it. The colors were fine, and I can more or less tolerate the smell (although it’s not my favorite). But I was holding it in my hand and I realized just how much they totally phoned in the packaging. I could not bring myself to buy it just because they slapped a sticker on the case. Grrr.

However, I *did* buy one of the (not L’Oreal) eyeshadow kits, basically on a whim, partly because it was cheap, but mostly because of the Mickey on the cover. And oh my goodness I was shocked but the quality is excellent. It’s a warm toned palette, kind of on the order of a naked heat, but with a mix of mattes and shimmers. The shades are smooth and buttery and easy to work with. Granted, I’ll be the only one at DW who knows I’m wearing Mickey Mouse eyeshadow, but I was so pleased with the way-better-than-drugstore quality for the price. I’m actually wearing it on my eyes today, and it was a joy to use. Plus, when I pull it out of the cabinet, there’s Mickey, looking back at me. I’m such a sucker for all of that.

I didn’t even look at the eyeshadow because I was wondering, what no name brand did they slap Mickey on this time??? I bought the Mickey mascara which is LOreal and I think you’ve just sold me on the shadows !

Something about the way they have Mickey posed in the silhouette reminds me of Lin-Manual Miranda on the Hamilton logo 😉

Even as cute as these are, I will never buy them. I absolutely cannot stand the smell of a L’Oreal lip product. They all have the same weird, chemically scent and having that so close to my mouth makes me want to gag!

WHY matte?? WHYWHYWHY??!!! I hate matte lipstick with the fire of a thousand suns!! It’s terribly unflattering on me, and dries my lips out like a 3 day old pork chop… If they’d made them cream… I might have been all over ’em. But,no… they had to be matte…

i just bought one yesterday and after several delays was finally able to pick it up at my local target. agree with what a commenter said…it isn’t in any package just loose, and it is just a mickey sticker, which i’m curious how well it will hold up in my purse. but it is cute. i got the matte mandate of course (pink). i haven’t bought a cheap lipstick in a while and this pretty much meets my expectations. does not stay on that long and sort of fades after an hour or 2. for the price who cares its cute and when you just need a little color to slap on and go it suits its purpose.
