The MAC Patrickstarrr Summer Starrr Full Face Kit ($49.50) went live on maccosmetics.com and I’m feeling the love for it. I’m lusting the eyeshadow quad the most in this set. I have to admit I’m really liking these little MAC Beauty Boxes that Patrick has been putting out. It’s an affordable way to get a whole look without dropping a ton of cash! I know whenever MAC releases a collection I always feel a bit overwhelmed. I actually like these boxes are sorted out for me and under $50 bucks. Because you know I’d totally be in way bigger trouble if they just did an entire launch with several eyeshadows, lipglasses, etc….! This keeps things under control!

This set includes:

  • Lipglass in Fashion Punch (pale peach) Pale peach
  • Lipglass in Cream Pie (midtone neutral pink)
  • Eyeshadow in Sandy Crotch (matte muted orange with pearl)
  • Eyeshadow in Brash (pinkish brick with gold shimmer)
  • Eyeshadow in Mabuhay (deep peachy brown pink matte with shimmer)
  • Eyeshadow in Ruddy (intense red with gold shimmer)
  • Bronzing Powder in Give Me Life (soft golden bronze)

Did you read through the colors carefully!? They had me at Ruddy which is described as a ruddy red with gold shimmer. YES! I do love red eyeshadow anything!

MAC Patrickstarrr Summer Starrr Full Face Kit is available now at maccosmetics.com.

P.S. Talking about Summer, what’s your Summer movie list looking like? I went to see Adrift this weekend and really enjoyed it. And no it wasn’t just because of Sam Claflin….! I actually really enjoyed the whole premise of the film. It starts off as a love story and suddenly turned into this mad dash for survival. If you haven’t already do see it. It was quite good.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I saw Bookclub yesterday and for any of you, ahem, older gals, it was freakin’ hilarious! Not that younger people can’t enjoy it but the jokes are geared towards us older ladies. And I could totally relate to all of them. I was cackling the whole time! Looking forward to Ocean’s 8 this week.

I wanted to see it but wasn’t sure if I’d enjoy it! My mom seen it and she adored it! Might add that one to my list ;-D I’m looking forward to Ocean’s 8 too!!!!!!!

I saw Adrift this weekend too, I liked it. Thinking of reading the book. Would love to see Sam Claflin in a movie where he actually lives though, LOL

Oh yeah sorry! Slipped my mind about spoilers, I’m usually good with that! It’s all in the book anyway 😉

Now, had to imdb it, but Swept Away with Giancarlo Giannini. Think Lina Wertmuller directed. That man was HOT. Unreal hot. He still does a slew of stuff, but as the working class yacht staff being marooned with the rich bitch, OMBFG! Think crotch other than sandy. Mind you, the film was 1974, so he looked far better than he does at ~75. Just IMDb the stills. the film was as gorgeous as he was, rocky isle in the Med. I know, my age is showing. But he projects that sexy charisma that Idris Elba does….the one that nails all females from preteen to grammie. Now, I know it’s a film about social class, but I found it far sexier than anything nowadays. Whoow, wipe my brow, just remembering. Wtf product were you talking about???

I loved the original Swept Away! That remake with Madonna was horrible. Adrift is wayyyyy more dramatic though ;-D
