    I would love to see some good independent swatches of this palette, but haven’t yet. I saw a YT review that was dreadful — not only were the swatches faint and blurry, but the reviewers slaughtered the pronunciations of Merlot, Chantilly, and Cognac. Is it too much to ask that people know what they’re talking about when they talk about it? The Francophone in me was horrified.

      IKWYM. It annoys me that the bloggers put themselves out there as being authorities, when they cannot pronounce English, much less French. At least they should have the humility to backpedal, apologize, or stumble a bit. I’ll bet that’s why Zoeva names are in English..and iirc, before they divided up the site by language preferences, they were in English for their EU audiences as well. I cannot divorce mispronunciation from vlogger opinion on the review at all, so that person has zero credibility. If they do not care enough to learn the correct way to say it…^&*^$. Even if the language is Swahili, Yoruba, or Ibo.
