Jouer at Sephora

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

After many years Jouer returns to Sephora today! Most articles I’ve read about Jouer at Sephora are quick to say that the brand is now at Sephora and how exciting it is. Does no one remember that they were at Sephora ten or more years ago with their clickable color options (as seen below)!? I’m going way back here but indeed they were available at Sephora way back in the day. It’s nice to see their return though!

It’s nice to see them back though. This makes things easier to enjoy and returns a little easier as well!

Although many smaller brands are swallowed up by Sephora so I do hope this is the right choice for Jouer and we don’t see them on the clearance rack sometime soon. I realize they have a fairly good cult following across social media but bringing that to Sephora and prove iffy at times considering how many brands like OCC Cosmetics have tried and failed at the beauty retailer.

We shall see how it goes!

For now you can shop Jouer at Sephora!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

Yes, I remember them being there before. I really wanted the starry night set but wavered and it sold out. I’ve just recently started getting into this brand so welcome news! Btw, how did new Boyfriend work out? Same juice or did they screw it up with an ill-conceived reformulation?

Vaguely remember it. I doubt it will be instore at local little S. I use only one Jouer product, the TM, at times as an add in, at times solo. My color is always OOS at Beautylish and their website, so it could be a good thing. It would be very interesting to read what brands were stocked at Sephora over the years. Remember they had Paul and Joe? They seemed more exclusive back then. Now 1/2 of what they stock is regular dept store brands. ID understand how having Clinique, e.g., does S any good at all, when there are two or more other stores in the same mall with the same merch. To me, S has become middle America, and that’s not a compliment.

I don’t like that when Sephora carries a brand, they don’t carry all the color options. Like if a brand offers 6 color palettes, they only carry 4. Or if a brand offers 12 blushes, and they carry 8–what is that?! I’m sure there’s some algorithm that says “These are the most popular colors,” but what if I want that light pink blush that no one else wants?! Or that blue eyeshadow! LOL

I remember! Nothing from their current line really interests me, but it’s nice to see Sephora adding brands instead of just removing them lol.
