About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Bought it! Love it! This is turning into my favorite eyeshadow palette (I own at least 10 HE palettes).

This palette is so so good! Never tried Lorac eyeshadows before, i highly recommend this palette.

Probably. Norvina to me is a disappointment. Cover up the accent shades, and it’s the same old, same old, with the sore thumb of one cliched abh orange matte. This one seems more muted, less glittery, and eminently wearable. The formula is usually fine by me, and they don’t screw with it, side eye ABH. waiting to see it in person, and using U points. Loved that U points post you did, and knew I was on the right track when I got Mod Ren and Aurora with points. Makes it all the sweeter.

I’ll probably get this one, as Lorac shadows are some of my favorites. I’m trying to practice a “one in, one out” mindset about possessions, though, and have been thinking about giving away my original Lorac Pro Palette. I never use it. These shades look more “me.”
