    Beware the setting sprays! I ordered a few bottles of De-slick and All-nighter from Nordstrom Rack not too long ago, and they all had mold in them! It was only by dumb luck I even realized. I opened one bottle to refill a travel size and saw brown and tan guck floating around inside. I immediately opened up all the other bottles I ordered to check and same deal. Just to be extra sure, I checked all the other setting sprays in my collection (including an All-nighter with new packaging) and none of them had stuff floating around inside. Seeing as the order was final sale, I chalked it up to a learning experience and tossed them all out. However, I did try to leave a review on the Nordstrom Rack item page to warn others to be careful. NR never posted it but a representative did reach out through email. I didn’t ask to be refunded and made it clear I threw out the products. I just wanted them to be more conscious of the shelf life of the makeup they were selling. A refund was still issued to me. On the one hand, I’m glad they took the time to reach out, but on the other hand, I felt like I was being paid hush money? Especially since these older bottles of setting spray are still being sold on NR and HL, and my review is probably never going to be posted.

    TLDR; Bought De-slick and All-nighter from Nordstrom Rack. Products had mold in them. Be wary of buying older/discontinued cosmetics items.

      ew that’s horrible and thanks for letting me know because last time they were on Hautelook I purchased two bottles of De-Slick (that was hmmm May or June?) and I haven’t opened either one yet! I have to look and make sure they aren’t moldy. That’s horrible! thanks for the heads up!
