Maybelline Soda Pop Eyeshadow Palette Available Now

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

The Maybelline Soda Pop Eyeshadow Palette ($13.99 or Buy 1, Get 1 50% Off All Maybelline at Ulta.com) launched today! This new soda inspired palette has a sweet pop scent and gorgeous shades of purple, berries, cranberry, and more to create a sultry Fall look!

Someone mentioned in my Twitter feed today that it looked like the Too Faced Peanut Butter and Jelly Eyeshadow Palette and I have to admit I’m seeing a little of that too! I didn’t love the Lemonade Craze Eyeshadow Palette that Maybelline launched earlier this Summer but without a doubt I had a lot of fun using it so I’m going to go ahead and haul the Soda Pop Eyeshadow Palette and see how it goes!

I think it’ll be great for Fall eye looks considering how popular purple is at the moment for Fall 2018.

What do you think of this one?

Worth a haul?

Idk. Excepting 3 shades, looks pretty dupable. Although, always good to have colors all in the same place. Lots of fun here, and Maybelline is killing it in that dept. def maybe.

  • Susan

Nah, I’m not buying any more palettes with orange in them. Totally unusable shades for me.

  • Carol

So pretty! Finally something different other than peaches! Yes, I will definitely be getting this one. And yes, it would be amazing if it smelled like cola!

  • Carolina

Even though I probably already have dupes for some of the colors, I feel I must have this. I’m hoping it smells like grape soda. Thanks for the heads up. Such a fun looking palette!

  • Kish

I’ll probably pick this up, I do like the Lemonade one. Especially if it ends up at Ulta too.

  • Julia

Very cute, and I really like the look of it, but I know I would never reach for this over my other million purple/orange palletes.

  • Felicia

I bought the lemonade one on your recommendation. They didn’t swatch that great on my hand but the shadows worked much better on my eyes. I’ve been enjoying it which surprised me as I usually don’t like most drugstore eyeshadows so you know I’ll be putting this in my pre-order list.

    • Isabella Muse

Yay! I liked it too! It isn’t the best quality but I had so much fun with it regardless ;-D I’m glad you enjoyed it!

      • Felicia

        Thanks. πŸ™‚
I’ve been meaning to ask how you like your Huda Coral palette? I’m wearing mine today, not sure what I think yet.

        • Isabella Muse

I’m actually testing it out this week and I’m not sure yet either ;-D I got it on Monday and been doing looks! Hope to have a review posted tomorrow or Friday! But still on the bubble on my thoughts. Love the shades that’s for sure ;-D I just reviewed UD Lightbeam and I HATED it. Very poorly formulated, hard to create looks, it was just not what I expected!

          • Felicia

Oh no about the UD palette. That’s too bad, but thanks for the warning. I love the shades in the Huda as well just not sure about the formula. It seems different to me but then again I only have one other palette by her to compare to which is Desert Dusk. Looking forward to your thoughts. Have a fantabulous day!

          • Isabella Muse

Oh my pleasure, good one to skip imho! Huda is weird because her eyeshadow is not formulated that great. Typically dense, sometimes chalky, very firm, yet I still find myself loving her stuff. Must be because I like her color assortment. Although Desert Dusk was considerably nicer than Rose Gold which had a way firmer textured eyeshadow! You too my dear you too! Enjoy the weather if you’re on the east coast! Seems to be finally breaking!

  • Jane

No, I won’t be getting it. It’s just another bummer of warm shades. : ( Pretty purples, though.

  • Silvia

I never been crazy with Maybelline or Revlon eyeshadows so I will be definitely skipping this plus already have all the shades from Colourpop and Nyx and awaiting for the WetnWild rose & peach ordered along Flights of Fancy.
I think Maybelline is improving I do like the Fit Me Foundation and concealer with that spongy thing awesome. Revlon needs a lot of work but I hear the lipsticks are good. I like Cover Girl best out those choices.
WetnWild i keep loving and they keep improving just fun to try them love their blushes the best! But the matte lipsticks, liquid and eyeshadows, highliters are awesome! Milani i i love too! Pixie on makeup I hate! Lol! Like the presentation but the products suck at least to me.

  • Leslye

I think I’m going to get it. It seems to be colors that more compliment my skin tone. The lemonade one didn’t look like it would work for me. I have had good luck lately with Maybelline eyeshadows. They had a coming soon sign for the Soda Pop in my local grocery store cosmetics section today.

  • Nicole

I might be into this one if the shimmery ones have that same cream texture as some of the shades in the lemonade palette.

  • Jules

Oooh, I really like those colors! Might wait for a review of how it compares qualitywise to the lemonade palette, which was just ok for me.
