Almay Velvet Foil Cream Shadow for Fall 2018

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Almay Velvet Foil Cream Shadow ($7.99 on sale for $4.79) are a new cream metallic eyeshadow that launched in 12 shades for Fall 2018 this morning! And the best part is they are on sale as well thanks to the Ulta Fall Haul Sale!

This new long-wearing cream eyeshadow has a velvet texture that provides intense, metallic color with a formula that promises crease-proof, smudge-proof, and fade-proof wear.

I’m actually very excited to check these out and the sale price is pretty awesome! I’m going to pick up a few shades. I used to hate cream eyesahdows but I grew to love them as they are just so easy to use without a ton of know how. A little dab, a quick blend, and you have a perfect eye look in seconds. No brushes needed!

Well, that is, of course, if the Almay Velvet Foil Cream Shadow has a good formula!

Almay Velvet Foil Cream Shadow are available now!

Any shades you’re liking?

These do indeed look promising, but the last few Almay products I’ve bought over several years have been absolutely dreadful. Let’s hope they’re improving!

Well look at Almay, actually making something interesting! I’ve written them off so long ago it’s not even funny. But these might actually be worth checking out. Let us know if you get any.
I love cream eyeshadow for the mere fact, like you mentioned, you can just slap it on when you’re in a hurry. And I’m also impressed with the wide color selection they’re offering.

I have a few of these in my Ulta favorites list as well as a couple of the new lipsticks. Can’t wait to try them.

I wonder if these will be anything like the MAC Paints from years ago.

I picked up the pinkish shade in the fall haul. Almay has swatches on their IG story!

I did take a chance and purchase all of these since they are currently on sale @ ULTA for $4.79. So glad I did since these will sell out when word gets out! The color pay off is phenomenal! I swatched them all the minute I took them out of my box, then hubby suggested we go to dinner so I tried washing with soap and water but they didn’t budge, until I used remover. Super creamy, extreme pigmentation and great wear, even without a primer. So far I have used about 4, just wearing as single color looks. They look just as vibrant after 14 hours as they do when first applied.

The new CVS weekly ad advertises these. My CVS store doesn’t have them yet. BUt if they are in the ad, I think they will be arriving to a wide market soon. I love cream eye shadow, and will try every drugstore brancd that makes one”assuming they are not produced in China. Can you tell where they are made when you swatch them? Thank you, Muse.
