Becca Volcano Goddess Eyeshadow Palette at Ulta

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

The rumored Becca Volcano Goddess Eyeshadow Palette ($46) is available as an early Ulta Platinum Perk today only at ulta.com today! This is one of the more colorful eyeshadow palettes I’ve seen from Becca so I did order it out of curiosity.

The Becca Volcano Goddess Eyeshadow Palette is limited edition and contains 12 eyeshadows in three finishes of matte, shimmer, and metallic.

Shades include:

  • Cloud (matte bone)
  • Volcanic Sand (matte light peach)
  • Granite (matte neutral taupe)
  • Gilded (molten metallic gold)
  • Diamond Dust (molten metallic cream w/ gold and pink pearls)
  • Haze (shimmering mauvy rose gold)
  • Red Rock (soft shimmering maroon)
  • Lava (molten metallic copper)
  • Agate Ash (shimmering taupey grey)
  • Crater (deep shimmering stone)
  • Hematite (shimmering gunmetal)
  • Midnight Sapphire (shimmering midnight blue)

As I said above it’s a curious palette for Becca because not only is it a little colorful for them (plenty of browns and bronzes here but still…) but also, they tend to not really release bigger eyeshadow palettes. I’ll let you know what I think when it arrives!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. It’s pretty but I’m 100% positive I have all those colors in all my assorted eyeshadow palettes already. I’m not a big colorful shadow person anyway I tend to wear a neutral eye and a bold or bright lip

  • Amy

For me, it looks very wearable. I can imagine using any of them, except the dark blue. It’s a gorgeous shade, I just wouldn’t know how to use it.

It will be interesting to see how this palette goes, as some of the brand’s other forays into eyeshadows hasn’t always been spectacular.
I do love the shades in this one and will be keen to see how you find it Muse.

Interesting, but I think BareMinerals’ new palette, also just released, looks more usable for me. Look forward to your review!

Ulta’s 21 days has gotten me everyday so far.
I picked this up (along with the exclusive Morphe palette).
Let’s hope it’s worth it, because my poor wallet!

I’d love to see this one compared to the Bare Minerals one. They look like siblings. Good for Becca for going out of the highlighter zone in terms of color choice. Also, same compliment for Bare Minerals for changing it up too, nice to see some variety with all of that neutral, makes a nice change.

the be aurora lights palette and this? I didn’t think they looked the same at all…? This looks quite a good deal bolder.

      • Paige

I think it’s the shimmers that are reminding me of that Aurora Lights palette, particularly that pop of blue.

        • Isabella Muse

ah! to me the aurora lights looks a lot more subtle whereas becca’s is pretty bold! We’ll have to see how they look side by side!

I can’t wait for your swatches and reviews! I think this looks very interesting and like something I would use, but I have sooo much stuff. But you can always sway me haha.

You know what I was most excited for about this release?? That Becca put out a highlighter that I easily passed on LOL. I’m a straight sucker for their highlighters (who hasn’t touched the orange highlighter since they got it? ME.). My interest is peaked about the eyeshadow palette though. I’m waiting for your review 😉

LOL ITA! I feel comfortable skipping it! likewise! Who hasn’t reviewed it yet? ME! review on the way ;D

  • Elena

Hi! Did you do a review on this one? Couldn’t find it. It’s on sale right now and I was wondering if I should get it. It gets a lot of praise but also negative comments about the metallic shades. Would love to read your opinion. Gracias!

    • Isabella Muse

I have it, didn’t review sorry! There’s lots of negativity on it but I actually purchased and liked it! I must be the minority. I used the metallics with my finger and patted them on and thought they applied quite nicely. There’s an outstanding gold and blue in the palette that pair up so beautifully together! I’ll try to get a review in! Sorry I didn’t post! I’ve just been so crazy busy lately! <3!

      • Elena

<3 Thank you so much! I decided to give it a try and ordered it (its on sale right now). Hope things get a little less hectic for you soon. xoxo
