Bobbi Brown Infra-Red Eyeshadow Palette Steps Out of the Brand’s Comfort Zone

Bobbi Brown Infra-Red Eyeshadow Palette ($39) is testimony to our slow burning obsession with all things red in the beauty world not to mention it steps completely out of the brand’s comfort zone. Because let’s face it, Bobbi Brown is all about playing it safe right with a few pops of color here and there but this? This is really unexpected.

This delicious burgundy palette contains a mix of matte, metallic, and sparkle shades. It’s not all about red though there are a mix of bronze, burgundy, and even taupes here but I think one of the stand out shades is Red Rock a rust red that will look amazing paired up with shades like Behind the Sun which is a peachy gold!

Shades:

  • Stone Cold (light warm peach)
  • Red Rock (rich rust-red)
  • Behind the Sun (metallic bronzed peach gold)
  • Slow Burn (sparkling bright copper gold)
  • Interstellar (metallic warm white gold)
  • Solar Flame (rich burgundy brown)
  • Infra-Red (shimmering warm pink with gold reflections)
  • Fever Dream (shimmering bright copper)

Bobbi Brown Infra-Red Eyeshadow Palette is available for Rouge Members in stores on September 15th or online and will launch for everyone else on September 17th.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Muse, this promo pic is waaaay off from what the actual palette looks like. Christine has a pic of swatches that BB posted with the model holding the palette in her hand. You’ll be shocked at the difference. Once again promo pics giving us all false hope!

omg you’re right! 🙁 another cranberry/burgundy palette! Damn! I wanted red!

      • Susan

It doesn’t even look cranberry/burgundy to me in the picture of the models holding it. Looks like another typical Bobbi Brown X Shades of Brown.

Do admire stepping outside the comfort zone, but generally dislike BB eyes, and even mildly regret purchases made at CCO. NFM. Liked Bobbi lips/cheeks when they were new. How long ago was that? In m/u life, feels like the JFK administration!

You have given me enough products to drool over while your on vacation. You are right there is something to this “cherry” trend. There is a new “Cherry Blossom” collection by KKW. Her hubby is from “The Chi” so maybe you can locate it in a store there for comparison. Be safe and have fun!

;-D Glad to be of service! I saw it but I was a little meh on it as it didn’t really look “cherry” at all 🙁 sad sigh! thanks Adrienne ;-D <3!

I’m going to be real disappointed if this is crap because this is the first thing BB has put out in a LONG time that has caught my attention and doesn’t bore me to death. I am anxious to see how this looks.

Well, it’s on sale at Sephora now and I’m getting it. I still like my Bobbi Brown version of trend. Where she gives just a nudge in the direction of the color. And cardboard packaging included $29 (now) for a BB palette never happens.
