If Cute Is Your Thing The Museum of Ice Cream x Sephora Collection Should Appeal

The Museum of Ice Cream x Sephora Collection is a new, limited edition makeup collection inspired by all ice cream! In 2016, the Museum of Ice Cream opened it’s doors in New York to immerse visitors into an interactive experience that will tickle anyone’s inner child. If you lived unless you’ve dived into the Sprinkle Pool because there’s nothing like picking our colorful sprinkles from your hair, bra, and other areas well after your visit.

The Museum of Ice Cream x Sephora Collection has rather bad timing in my opinion! A few years ago this would have been dubbed cute by me but after I’ve been force fed unicorns, mermaids, and fairies for the past two years I’m pretty much over anything that’s too cute. This collection should be appealing to tweens and perhaps really early teenagers but I’m not sure how many grown women and me will indulge in this one! One of the things that’s really crazy are the prices of this collection!

Although I will say the Sprinkle Pool Brush Set is adorable!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

I thought it was cute until I saw the prices. No thanks.

I did recently try some Museum of Ice cream ice cream though. It was OK but not as good as Ben & Jerry’s.

Was this not ready in time for summer release, or is it a nod to those in the Southern hemisphere, the way Bite occasionally does a just for Canada? There is a Sephora Aus, Singapore, etc. The i.c. stuff is fairly cutely themed, and popsicle lips are always a thing. Tangentiality alert: Kawaii obsession with the Gudetama lazy egg. Never liked the Holika Holika shades, but I found baby wipes at the Asian marketplace! And a customer had the m/u bag from an Ipsy box. Now, I’m all over Amazon for the yolk, folks. I think it’s his quasi-negative attitude that appeals to me. Meh. WTF. Never thought I’d be a Sanrio person. I mean, who ever smiles at their baby wipes?

I think it’s an odd time of year to put it out. Why didn’t they release this in May or June? And you’re right, the prices are a little too highbrow for me.

Why is this coming out in September? Seems like it’d be best to release in JUne.

Thanks for the heads up! As someone in her late thirties thought it was completely appropriate to
purchase the brush set via the app. BTW…after watching Two Spirits Love, if someone asks me if I could come back as an animal in the next life, I would totally choose a duck in the off chance Mario Maurer would chase after me :). P.S. I recommend Nueng Nai Suang if you want something to watch in the background while working.

LOL! omg! Yes can I come back as a duck too!? he is lovely isn’t he!? I’ve seen NNS, that’s my other lakorn boyfriend btw, James Ji! Did you see Padiwaradda? He and Bella are so cute together!

I agree that the timeline seems to be a little misguided! Unfortunate. However, I need those lashes from pride for next year, and I love the brushes! And the clutch is soooo cute. I can’t resist those ones. I hope the brushes are decent.
