If You Have $35 Maybe Lancome Can Make You Look Younger and Hello Fall Decor

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

I always feel like I’m looking for the next best thing to keep my skin looking bright, happy, and healthy. Today the Lancome Advanced Génifique Youth Activating Starter Kit ($35) caught my eye at and with free shipping why not try it? The set includes two Advanced Genifique Hydrogel Melting Masks. These are hydrogel masks that act to hydrate and smooth skin. I’m a sheet mask junkie so of course, I decided now was a good time as any to give them a whirl. Lancome also included Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate (0.27 oz.) and Advanced Genifique Yeux Youth Activating Eye Cream (0.2 oz.) for the ride.

Worst case scenario the mask doesn’t work and I have a second mask I can run around the house in with a knife Michael Myers style. It is Halloween almost after all right?

Which reminds me…………! I’m off to Chicago next week so this weekend guess what’s happening kids? Fall Decor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don’t put Halloween up until the end of September but I’m hauling out all my Fall leaves, pumpkins, and pumpkin spice everything mugs. This year my theme for Halloween is Hocus Pocus although, my Halloween costume is Whovian in nature.

So, I already raided Home Goods, Kirkland’s, and the Christmas Tree Store!

And of course, Etsy! Here’s some of my Etsy Fall discovers this year that I’m loving:

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

Love the decorations theme this year. I always say I’ll decorate, but I’m just too darn lazy to go hunt for everything. This year, I’m flying to Hawaii and Japan on Halloween, so I won’t even get to dress up, unless I want to wear a costume on the plane. Haha! Maybe…

Speaking of masks, I’m tempted to check out the ridiculously overpriced Ginza brand in Japan when I’m there. My coworker from Japan raves about the mask, but it’s like $180 for a pack of 6! That’s insane! But the worst part is that I’ve used the cleanser, toner, and lotion before and actually do like them! Woe is me! My wallet! Do you want me to pick up anything for you while I’m there?

I’m so jealous of you Muse, a) because I wish wish wish I was heading to Chicago too, and b) because in the States you get to be surrounded with amazing fall decor! It’s so rare people dec their own homes for fall/autumn here, even a lot of store fronts don’t display much that’s seasonal. I think I’m going to need to get working on some autumnal goodies for my own home to brighten these next couple of months up!

Love your Etsy picks, enjoy your decorating and trip! 😀
