Even as a lip palette hater I’m all about the new Lipstick Queen the Nude Album Lip Palette ($25) because, whoa, unexpected Lipstick Queen release here. In all my years with this brand I’ve never seen them do a lip palette which means I’m about checking it out. It’s also rather affordable.

This set includes a lip brush plus 7 nude, natural shades! I dunno if the promo images are right but all these shades look like perfect nudes for me!

  • Nude Metal
  • Saint Pinky Nude
  • The Truth
  • The Whole Truth
  • Nothing But The Truth
  • Chess Pawn
  • Nude Sinner

Yup, lip palettes are messy but I think I’m going to grab up the Lipstick Queen The Nude Album Lip Palette regardless!

Lipstick Queen The Nude Album Lip Palette for Holiday 2018 is available now.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. This is different for them, certainly. Poppy King is no longer affiliated with the company, she sold it to the owner of SpaceNK a couple of years ago and more recently yielded creative input to them as well.

Wow. Did not know that. I knew LQ was a featured SNK brand, but I thought that had something to do with SNK being British, (with a US arm.) I thought it had to do with EU/Brit distribution. I have been a Poppy fan from the get-go. Still have the 7 deadly sins…the original range, not the current. Poppy was the CD for Prescriptives at one time, before P left the EL family and was bought/restarted by Godknowswho…. Now, Poppy King is not quite the entrepreneur that Marcia Kilgore is, but I am VERY interested to see what she does next. She started Poppy at 18. 18!

Exactly! That’s why lip palettes are the worst! These shades look lovely but why not just do them as minis? I don’t know about you guys, but I’m constantly reapplying lipstick/gloss throughout the day. So this would be utterly useless.
