Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Full Coverage Foundation Launched Today!

I’m pretty freaking hyped that Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Full Coverage Foundation ($12) launched late last night at Ulta.com! Not to mention the Conceal & Define Supersize Concealer ($10) I told you about last month is also now available! It’s 0.45 oz in size now compared to the smaller 0.11 oz and hell, it isn’t that much more than the smaller size! The price increase is a mere $3 bucks!

But I think the most interesting topic of this conversation is Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Full Coverage Foundation and whether or not it is as good as the concealer formula! It’s available in 24 shades and promises a lightweight formula that provides a “real skin” finish that evens outskin tone while brightening and creating a flawless finish. The creamy formula is oil-free and comes in a glass bottle with a large doe-foot applicator. Yeah, pretty much a node to Shape Tape but let’s be honest for a sec, in some ways Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer is way better than Shape Tape so, imagine if they excelled at creating a better Shape Tape Foundation formula too?

I’m on this to say the least and will be ordering up a few shades today!

Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Full Coverage Foundation and the new larger size of Conceal & Define Concealer is available today at Ulta!

Will you be hauling!?

P.S. Who’s watching the Deuce Season 2? I know you’re out there because we totally discussed it last season! I was watching it with my boyfriend last night via Face Time and we had plenty of WTF moments. They jumped what, six years into the future? It was a little bit of a learning curve putting two and two together for a second there….! I’m actually not sure I like it quite yet….! I hate jumps! Anyway, let me know how you’re feeling about it.

P.S.S. With all of Franco’s #MeToo controversy I’m shocked to even see they let him keep this gig.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I have the concealer in my cart. Not sure of foundation. It is smaller size of .80 compared to a full ounce.

Just finished The Deuce, season one.
It was excellent. I’m a huge fan of David Simon (The Wire) and I am looking forward to season two but I don’t have HBO so I have to wait until it comes out on DVD. I knew they were time-jumping because Maggie Gyllenhaal was on the talk shows and she said it was set in the 80s.

    • Isabella Muse

David Simon is def amazing. Not quite the 80’s yet, 1977 to be exact. They jumped ahead about six or so years. It was a little tiny bit confusing and it feels like they jumped the shark by jumping ahead but I’m still digging it ;-D

Probably, eventually. For me, the concealer is better than Nars RCC. Just not jumping, but it is psych-worthy. Haven’t peeked yet…assume that color choice is as easy as the concealer, right? For the price, the concealer is bonkers good. Since I got 3 to accommodate summer/winter hade changes don’t think I need a big one yet. A good point about the concealer is that it is very forgiving. Seems I can wear C5, C7, C9 reasonably interchangeably.

I’ve only seen one review of this foundation so far, and it was BAD. I’m gonna hold off a bit; thanks for taking one for the team!

The review I saw was really, really good, however the reviewer (casey holmes) has oily skin and she loved how matte it made her. I have dry skin and I know you also have dry patches Isabella which worries me slightly since I prefer a more natural finish. I will be waiting for your review before I buy probably, maybe. Lol. BTW, I don’t know if you have tried the new J.One Red Jelly Pack but I have been using it for the past week and I love it! Every foundation I have tried with it glides on and blends like a dream. It seems more moisturizing to me than the original one which I still have on your recommendation from years ago.

        • Isabella Muse

Likewise on the natural finish as I, too, have drier skin! That worries me as well 🙁 but hopefully it’ll be a nice finish! I haven’t tried it yet!!! I love the white pack! It’s on my list to get though ;-D thanks for the rec!

Hey, Muse, how are you? Chloe sends kitty kisses! I’ve been watching The Deuce but I can’t say it’s been enjoyable. Aside from the main characters, the others I mix up. I also find James Franco to be a terrible actor, let alone playing two roles. I’m staying with it because I like the subject matter & a couple of peripheral characters. That’s all I’ve got.

    • Isabella Muse

omg susan chloe must be huge 🙂 send new pics ;-D Franco has his moments, it really depends but that accent lord…!

  • Valerie

I’m watching it and really like it. Nothing like VICE, people are doing crazy things and do drugs and all but they all have a purpose, there is logic to their action aka have a better life. Might not be the best decision but still. I guest we are talking 6 months to a year base on the hair style and length, maybe 3 even let see when will see Candi (Maggie G) kid’s, they will for sure let us know how grown he is… Also for the James Franco problem, I also think he shouldn’t be there and i’m wondering how Maggie felt with that whole thing she is an active member of the #metoo movement and has been know to speak out for years of sexisme and ageism in Hollywood.

    • Isabella Muse

Yeah they showed her son this week actually! I’m shocked they allowed him to continue! It is his show so maybe he had some great contract that allowed him to stay or he’d pull the show completely :-/

  • Hayley

I can’t even describe how much I love The Deuce. I am obsessed with how accurate the whole show looks Seventies-wise. The costumes, the atmosphere, the music, it’s just so great.
