The Question is Not To Be Or Not To Be But Do I Need The Summer Fridays Overtime Mask?

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Summer Fridays Overtime Mask ($44) is a new exfoliating pumpkin mask. WHAT!? Pumpkin? Sign me up! However, I will say my experience with the Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask was luxurious but didn’t actually leave me feeling like I needed to repurchase it so the question here would be do I really need the Summer Fridays Overtime Mask!?

Probably not but….! Pumpkin!

They haven’t shared the exactly ingredients but apparently it contains pumpkin enzymes to brighten, apricot seeds to exfoliate, and beta carotene to restore the glow to your skin!

Is it weird I’m all tempted to say it sounds like St Ives Apricot Scrub but with pumpkin? Eep! Sorry Summer Fridays I know you don’t want that visual in anyone’s head!

Do I need this?

Probably not but Summer Fridays Overtime Mask will probably come home with me sooner or later!

What are you currently exfoliating with?

I’m all about Dr Denese Microdermabrasion Cream! Doesn’t dry me out and gives me a nice deep exfoliation!

As a pumpkin and chemical exfoliant fan, I love this: Pumpkin Mask by Peter Thomas Roth. Works wonders on my skin.

My favorite pumpkin mask is the one from Andalou Naturals – it smells delish, you can get it for under $15, and it really works! ‘Course I’m a cheapskate when it comes to skin care, usually… 🙂 But cheaper products just seem to work better for me than ‘spensive ones. Fortunately… 😀 You should try the Andalou one, Muse, if you havne’t already. I think most natural food stores/Whole Foods carry it!

No, you don’t need it. Haha! But we all are going to try it in the end anyway, so why not? LOL! I get professional peels from the derm and have to say that these at home ones never really do anything for me. I still like to try them for fun, though.

I love all things pumpkin – EXCEPT face products. The pumpkin (and papaya) enzymes they use in peels gives me a chemical burn and leave me red and scaly. What a bummer!

It depends for me! Sometimes it burns horribly but sometimes I can actually get away using it ;D

Ouch!! I can see how they would – some of them are pretty strong. I inherited my dad’s rhino hide for skin, so I can use ’bout anything on it without any trouble…

Pumpkin enzyme masks work really well for me so I’m excited to snag it! The most effective one is by PTR, but Andalou Naturals and Michael Todd skincare make more affordable ones I like. You’re right though, it sounds like more of a scrub rather than mask.

I agree. With Kim k , I love PTR’s Pumpkin. Mask. I had been burned really bad by a professional giving me a similar mask so I I was pleasantly surprised when PTR worked so well!
