4 stars out of 5

Too Faced Peach Lip Scrub ($17) (0.51 oz) is a new peaches and cream-infused exfoliating scrub for your lips that got added to the Too Faced Peaches & Cream Collection which is available exclusively at Sephora. Too Faced added a few new additions to the collection for Fall 2018 and it doesn’t surprise me in the least since 1. the collection was well received and popular when it launched. 2. It’s logical to add more items on with the success the line is having to keep things fresh and new. and 3. Too Faced launched a new Tutti Frutti Collection at Ulta so of course, Sephora has to keep their own fan base interested in their exclusive collection thus new items will get them the attention they want when Ulta is also have their moment in the sun!

It was pretty much a no brainer to pick up the Too Faced Peach Lip Scrub simply because I’m as addicted to lip scrubs as I am to lip balms. It actually a product I use fairly often and I run out of rather quickly simply because I am prone to drier lips. I tend to use a lip scrub two or three times a week to keep my lips nice and smooth. I think most people will find the $17 price tag for this a little much especially when you have a few drugstore options like Chapstick Total Hydration Conditioning Lip Scrub that will do just as good a job. But I typically buy Sara Happ’s Lip Scrubs at $22 for to $24 so, it wasn’t too bad plus the size is rather generous! But yeah, it’s an indulgence!

Ok, I admit, I got this for the packaging. It’s adorable! I like keeping cute, pretty makeup on my vanity! Who doesn’t right? This is quite cute! It comes in a little pot with a gorgeous peach face plate that simply says “Peach Lip Scrub” and Too Faced’s initials on the stem! I can totally see myself reusing this when the scrub is done for a pill case or to store earrings during travel!

The scrub’s texture is perfect. Too Faced got down the consistency very well. It’s soft, grainy, and smooths on easily. It resembles Vaseline in my opinion but feels a little more oily and slick once you start scrubbing away. The texture isn’t too course nor too grainy that it hurts or makes lips raw and sore. I felt like it did a nice job whisking away dead, dry, flaky skin with minimal effort and left my lips, as promised, not only smooth but very supple and almost plumped up (which wasn’t promised).

I was a LITTLE tiny bit disappointed with the flavor but not the fragrance. It smells peachy and yummy but the flavor wasn’t exactly spot on peach but little bit of a perfume-y peach which I didn’t exactly love. I wish it was a sweeter peach flavor but all in all, it wasn’t bitter or terrible to my tongue.

If you’re prone to drier or flakier lips this does a nice job getting them smooth and soft again!

I really liked it!

Where to buy

Sephora

Too Faced Peach Lip Scrub is a new $17 permanent lip scrub that was added Too Faced Peaches & Cream Collection that’s available exclusively at Sephora. The formula is a soft, vaseline-like texture that wasn’t to grainy yet still left my lips feeling smooth, soft, and supple after use. It smells like yummy peach but the flavor was more of a perfume-y peach one which did disappoint me a little. Overall, I thought it worked great restoring my dry lips to a smoother, softer state!

Thanks for the review. I’m tempted to get it just for the sweet little container!

I bought this too but yours looks like it melted a bit. I agree the flavor isn’t great but the lip balm flavor is spot on!

Am I allowed to be a smart*ss here? Hmmmmmmm let’s see 17 bucks for peach flavored sugar vs. a 99c toothbrush and sugar that does the exact same thing(actually sea salt is better)..(taps fingers on lips let’s see……)
Sorry….I’m tired*I worked a lot of hours this week* and this just made me a little bit mad, that they are just selling crap just to sell,,,even though I did purchase some items from Sephora for the Labor day sale, talk about goooood sales!!! I got the Tarte palette ii( the sea one) for 20bucks! And I concentrated more on the eye makeup removers, face care items, they were damn near giving them away… So thank you for reminding me or I would have forgotten about it completely!

Awesome!!!! Ya know I did not think I would like the Tarte Palette, and I changed my mind after using it, hardly any fallout (which is why tarte is on the fence for me) and does it ever make my brown eyes pop! It’s funny, the shades don’t look at all what goes down on the skin, or they look lighter in the palette than the color actually is, does that make sense? LOL I’m loopy, just got off work … oooh and the Sephora brand mousse facial cleanser wow is all I can say (they were $4 each btw I bought 4) , when I apply my witch hazel afterwards the cotton ball? comes out clean no leftover makeup what so ever!!!. wahoo!
        Have a good one!!!
