About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Shall I dare say I am going to pass? And that I am kinda over it? I think I am reaching that point where I am becoming a collector of palettes and not a user of them. I think I have all the neutrals, nudes, maties and berry’s I can handle and they are starting to look similar to me. Only exception that tempted me was your post of the Lorac holiday and IT Cosmetics Vol 2. I have more than I can use now. I get them when you post about a great deal but never get to pan on anything because I have so much to choose from

Good realization. I had to be a lot older than you to begin to commit to that stance, and could have used the $ a lot more than the mountain of e/s I have accumulated. Esp when you don’t use as much as you purchase. Esp since e/s looks like the cereal aisle these days….lots of combinations and permutations of the same shit! All hail the Ryan Reynolds meme.

I covered Bloom with my finger and realized how meh is this palette. Eyeshadow palettes are simply out of control and a moritorium must be declared that they stop. The end.

I was gifted this palette. I sent it back. To me it was nothing special. Perhaps I have just become jaded with soooo many palettes. I have enough.
