Huda Beauty The New Nude Eyeshadow Palette Launches November 1st

Huda Beauty The New Nude Eyeshadow Palette ($65) launches November 1st just in time for the second Rouge Sale! Hey, 20% Off this palette is a great deal! When I first heard about this it was top on my list of items I needed but I think it might be a little cool for me! I am praying hard it isn’t because god those shades are gorgeous.

It includes 18 total eyeshadows in matte, shimmer, and duo-chromatic shades in a range of rosy, golden, dusky copper, and soft berry hues. I love the shades but I’m concerned that they’ll look pasty on me! Let’s hope not as I really want this one! I do see some dusky berries and roses that will work nicely for me! There are a few shades though that might not quite do the trick on my skin tone. Do you think you’ll be able to create looks using this one? Think it’ll sell out?

Do share your thoughts!

It launches November 1st

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I’m all about cool tones and am honestly tired of warm nude palettes, so this has me interested! I’m not sure if I can justify buying another expensive eyeshadow palette though, so I’ll wait for reviews.

I hear ya! It’s been a lot of warm, nude palettes lately! I sure hope this works for me as I love the way it looks!

I’m with you, but am rather afraid of the app on those big, chunky glitter pans. Also, half-heartedly have made a decision not to try new-for-me brands. The promo photo gives me the same feelings/hopes that BM Aurora did: as if they took some fairly well represented shades and just tweaked them a little cooler. With the BM, that turned out to be quite true. Aurora applies more colorfully than it looks in the pans, buts it’s def for light and lt-to med skintones. I wish I could see this in person, but I doubt it will be instore. But, boy, do I not need more e/s. But, this is only half the price of big Pats. A bargain! See how we rationalize?

I love cool neutrals, but four chunky glitters make this a no for me. Oh well. 🙁

I just bought the Lime Crime Venus XL palette from Winners which gives me a lot of pink/ some mauve. Then I saw this!! I am very interested at the color selection, but I can’t have another pink palette. I don’t think it looks professional for work if I wear pink all the time while I already look very young to my age…I will resist! LOL

I’ve seen a couple of review now on YouTube that don’t look as promising as I had hoped–pass for me.

I am wondering about the versatility of the palette as all looks i have seen so far are similar and if the colors are not too close to the Mauve Obsessions palette.

  • Lori

Pretty, but I have started shying away from big palettes. I end up only using a few colors and feel like too many colors are too similar in large palettes. I’ve been buying 9 shades or smaller lately!

Like others are saying here, I also have more than enough big (and small) eye shadow palettes and could probably dupe this from my current collection. I really don’t want any more, lol. Although, the shades in this palette look really beautiful and a bit unique? I think I would consider purchasing it but I can’t seem to get myself to like the packaging and the design of this palette either with her face on it. It’s such an expensive palette yet looks so tacky.

I can’t wait to own this. I am going to wait until Friday though so I can use the 20% off at Sephora. I just decluttered my eyeshadow drawers and got rid of about 15 palettes so I can stock up on more. Lol. Wait that’s not how it’s supposed to work. I think all the shades will look great on you Isabella. I am especially excited about the glitters!
P.S. Random but a long time ago when I used to date on a dating site my tagline was “Do you like pina colada’s and getting caught in the rain”?. Haha. I was surprised at how little men actually got it. Happy Halloween!

Just bought this palette with my Rouge 20%. Thought I was finished buying for this year, but saw this and had to get it. I was so bummed when UD Backtalk turned out not to be as great as I hoped it would be, because I loved the colour story. This palette looks like it is in the same vein, with more colours and finishes, and better payoff. Can’t wait to play with it. I swatched the pearlescent shades in store and they are what sealed the deal for me, although I could see myself using the matte shades in the bottom row all the time.
