Makeup Palette Recommendations to Purchase During the Sephora Sale

I think makeup palettes tend to be a little poorly made during the Holidays. I mean I remember a time when Holiday palettes were swoon worthy, collectible, and something well worth picking up. But makeup has become very disposable and that saddens me. However, this year I’ve seen some improvements and a lot of brands made a real effort to put their best face forward for the Holiday season and in doing so have given us some very nice selections this year!

Here’s some of my top makeup palette recommendations to haul during the Sephora sale which starts tomorrow (October 25th) for Rouge Members!

NARS Orgasm Infatuation Palette ($34 after discount)
Do pick up this limited edition cheek palette. I got this one for myself and really love it. I’m not much for Laguna Bronzing Powder but I love Orgasm and this includes both the blush shade and a new Orgasm Highlighting Blush!

NARS Hot Tryst Cheek Palette ($47 after discount)
Speaking of NARS, NARS Blush, and brilliant palettes this one is worth a haul! It includes six luminous blushes all housed in one palette for easy travel! I picked this up when it launched (sorry late reviewing) and quite like it! Expect a review/swatches soon!

Too Faced Tickled Peach Mini Eyeshadow Palette ($21 after discount)
Most of you have this little gem already but for those who don’t do pick it up! Six yummy peach scented eyeshadows create quick and easy looks with a velvety, pigmented formula that might just bring you back to the good old days in Too Faced history!

Pat McGrath Labs MTHRSHP Eyeshadow Palette ($44 after discount)
Pat’s eyeshadow palettes don’t come cheap but these MTHRSHP Palettes that includes six gorgeous shades are well worth the haul! Subline Bronze is delicious to say the least and it’s on my list but choose from several other shade selections to get your eyes Holiday swoon ready!

Clinique Get Cheeky Holiday Palette ($23 after discount)
I think this is such a no brainer! Clinique’s Cheek Pop blush is amazing formula-wise and this contains three-full size shades! Totally worth hauling!

Natasha Denona Mini Sunset Eyeshadow Palette ($20 after discount)
Honestly, the day Natasha started doing mini eyeshadow palettes was the best day of my makeup life! Her palettes don’t come cheap but having a mini version at such a steep discount is fantastic! This is one of my fav shade selections from her and perfect for Fall (and Summer) looks!

Natasha Denona Mini Star Eyeshadow Palette ($20 after discount)
And for those playing it safe this camel shaded palette is perfect for work looks!

Kaja Beauty Bento Bouncy Shimmer Eyeshadow Trio ($17 after discount)
Kaja is a relatively new brand but thus far they have made a good impression with me. These cute trios contain three coordinating shadows each!

Sephora Midnight Wishes Eyeshadow Palette ($19 after discount)
One of Sephora’s very fun Holiday offerings this palette contains 16 shades of eyeshadow to create elegant eye looks for the Holidays!

Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Eyeshadow Palette ($43 after discount)
If you’re heading in for a splurge look no further than Charlotte’s eyeshadow quads that contain shimmery, luxurious shades for create elegant eye looks!

Ciate Glitter Storm Eyeshadow Palette ($34 after discount)
I haven’t tried it yet but Ciate has a new Holiday Palette and considering their shadow formula rarely disappoints I added this to my wish list! This palette features nine shades in sparkle, shimmer, and matte finishes!

Charlotte Tilbury Stars In Your Eyes Eyshadow Palette ($60 after discount)
I do wish I hated wait to score this at a discount but I paid full price! I don’t regret it but still at $60 it somehow becomes so much more affordable! Infused with Diamond Powder this palette features 12 delicious shades of eyeshadow in warm berries and nudes!

Wander Beauty Wanderess Chill Eyeshadow Palette or Wanderess Off Duty Eyeshadow Palette ($20 after discount)
Wander Beauty’s new eyeshadow palettes literally just launched and contain six eyeshadows each! I currently have them bookmarked and might grab one up as the price is just right!

Are there any awesome makeup palettes you’ll be hauling during the Sephora sale?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. What do you think of the Bobbi Brown holiday palette, the purple one? I’m very tempted by that one. Everyone talked about the red one (Infrared?) and no one is talking about the purple one (ultraviolet). I’m about $45 away from rouge for next year and I’m eyeing that one as a cool alternative to all of the berry palettes. Unlike the Ciate holiday ones that I’m also thinking about, I’m feeling relatively certain it won’t go on sale after the holidays. Your thoughts?

I didn’t like either one sadly. Save your money! Quality simply wasn’t there 🙁 Not sure the Ciate ones will last through the Holidays (don’t quote me) but the Bobbi Brown one may just pop up on sale!
