Glow Recipe Avocado Melt Sleeping Mask Meant To Be Used On Your Face Not In Your Quac Recipe

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Glow Recipe Avocado Melt Sleeping Mask ($45) arrived at Sephora yesterday and as tempting as it is to dump a bunch of it into a bowl and serve it with chips you might want to smear it on your face instead!

Allow me to digress for a second..

Do you eat your weight in guacamole or am I the only guac addict?

But anyway, Glow Recipe Avocado Melt Sleeping Mask might sound tasty but please don’t eat it! This creamy sleeping mask was created with yummy things like honey and avocado that act to moisturizer dry, dull skin overnight. Anyone can use it! Dry, oily, combo, it’s a perfect mask to heal skin over to reveal brighter, firmer, and more hydrated skin!

I dunno if it works but it sure does sound yummy! Maybe I’ll try it out and see how it goes. Worst case scenario I can use it in my next guac recipe!

It’s available now at Sephora.

P.S. I’m so happy to be back to normal blogging! Those sales really exhausted me! Did you score anything awesome over the long weekend or yesterday during Cyber Monday? Let me know whatcha got!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. We are so happy to have you back! The sales got to me this year and I didn’t partake like I have previously. There is almost TOO MUCH on sale and too many competing sales. It gets overwhelming. I did take advantage of the Paula’s Choice sale that you posted about but I found overall I purchased more of what I needed and was running out of and not the latest and most sparkly offerings!

    • Isabella Muse

omg does it every. I love the idea of things being so cheap but in someways it’s also a little sad too because it puts so many stores out of business! I did overindulge in some new fragrances but aside from that I was fairly good!

  • Deb

Not just you Muse. I could eat guacamole until I’m sick.

In case no one has said it, you did an awesome, awesome job rounding up all of those sale posts. I can’t even imagine how much time you had to spend browsing all of the websites to put up all of those links. Truly, you outdid yourself!

I skipped everything this year except LaLicious. I lost my damn mind on their website when their sale went live. My fedex delivery person is going to hate me when that box gets shipped.

omg me too! and pico! all the pico! ;-D Thanks Deb, thanks a lot. that means a lot to me! I really appreciation that! I WAS so busy the past few days with life stuff and it was to keep up with it all so, I really appreciate you saying that <3! OMG I MISSED IT! Please tell me it wasn't 50% off! HEAD DESK!

      • Deb

I’m so sorry Muse, I just checked their site and that sale is over Looks like it was just a Black Friday thing. It wasn’t 50% off but it was decent. Spend x amount, get $25, $35, $50 off entire order….that kinda thing. I stocked up and got $85 off my order so it was worth it. I didn’t see any advance advertising anywhere for their Black Friday sale and just happened to check out their website that day, otherwise I would have missed it too.

I’m keeping an eye on them for potential Christmas sales.

        • Isabella Muse

damn! I can’t believe I missed that! Thanks Deb ;-D will def be keeping my eye out for potential xmas sales!

Good grief. The sales were actually SO overwhelming that I really didn’t buy much. On Friday I was thinking, Will this be cheaper on Monday? So I would wait. Turns out, Sephora had a lot of the similar crap on sale Monday as they did Friday. Ulta seemed to at least shake things up, but still. Too much/too many websites with sales. Glad it’s over. But I know they’re be more to come!

    • Isabella Muse

Oh yes! There’s a little quiet time at the moment but the storm is coming!

Holy smokes this excites me. My face needs more than plain ole moisture, it needs shit like omegas and fats and gooey stuff… I dunno haha. But I bet avocados are the answer!
10 years ago when I first ‘discovered’ I love avos I was buying those 4 packs that Trader Joe’s sells, and eating one every day with my lunch… one whole 4-pack that is (listen, I had just watched Super Size Me and quit fast food and was overhauling my life into a healthy one so I excitedly latched onto avos as my ‘healthiest’ food in my arsenal and just went HAM). It wasn’t until months later that I even found out about the caloric count and realized, oh gee, THAT’s why I gained 20 pounds in that first MONTH!! Haha. So yeah, I love avos.
p.s. a super fast lazy guac recipe? We just take a jar of salsa and mash avos into it. Easy peasy! And can choose basically any salsa you like, change it up, add extras, whatever!

    • Isabella Muse

Ha thanks for the recipe ;-D I’m going to try it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • kjh

Avos, can’t overindulge, as they feel like arteries clogging, but they do taste marvelous in small doses. I got so sick of all the sales/emails that you had to remind me to do Paula. Thanks (even though Cosrx is my main man.) Found P for myself, but C is all thanks to you. Then did Indies: Strobe and Sydney Grace, firsts from each, like the No Joke bundle, SG’s response to make the Tarte April Fool’s a reality. And Zoeva. Un-Sephora; un-Ulta. Should be fun.

    • Isabella Muse

too true! but still love! ;-D by the way Cosrx is on dermstore now so good sales there all the time ;-D good hauling my dear good hauling!
