It Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream Rosy Tone Vitality Moisturizer ($43) takes a note from LOreal Perfect Cell Renewal Rosy Tone Moisturizer with this new formulation that hydrates skin whole gently exfoliating it to reveal smoother, younger skin. The formula promises to intensely hydrate skin and has rosy tone pigmented to give your skin a natural glow from within finish!

It contains iris root, peony extracts, and lipohydroxy acid to keep skin smooth and healthy look!

This sounds interesting enough but what’s really interesting is the fact that a drugstore actually formulated prior to a mid or high-range brand. Typically the situation is reversed isn’t it? Mid-range or higher-end creates something new and exciting and drugstores launch a similar dupe six months to a year later!

I have to admit the color is just gorgeous! I do wonder if it works but I wasn’t a big fan of the original Confidence in a Cream formula. Maybe Rosy Tone will convince me?

It’s available at QVC for $43 or 6 Easy Pays of $7.28 with free shipping!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I just saw this and I was quite intrigued! I’m hoping it will be at Sephora or Ulta in a few months so I can try a sample.

I feel like as someone with excess redness in my skin this wouldn’t really look that good on me, but I could see how could be amazing on other people especially like my mum who has quite a lot of dullness due to not enough sleep (shift work is just one of those downsides to being a nurse). If only I could actually get my mum to stick to a skincare routine & actually putting it on her face instead of buying it & leaving it there. I have inherited many an expensive product through this though, so that’s always a bonus.

Didn’t see that coming. Mid-range brand taking inspiration from drugstore brand. Next up: cats sleeping with dogs!
