About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I’ve been waiting for this to re-stock, but now that it is, I looked around at some swatches and to me this pallete looks pinky/mauvy….but it’s way more neutral in the pictures that aren’t promo pics….so i’m passing. for now. lol

      • Wendy Sue

yeah, i only found one person that swatched them where they looked decent. All the other swatches were dull AF. And definitely leaning more toward red/copper than pink/mauve.

oh shit, I’m so sorry! ๐Ÿ™
But check for yourself, everyone’s sense of color is different!

So…this or that huda beauty palette? I realize I have $75 of play on sephora when the sale goes live, but I only have room in my heart for 1 eyeshadow palette this year. Instagram looks tempting for either, but real life does not come with a ring light and production team.

Hey, I’m a Nars ho from the get go, but I’d do Huda. Check out the CP palette new to Ulta, too. They got the rainbow palette, as well, but one is in the pink, mauve, neutral family. Based on Christine’s swatches, Wendy Sue is totally right.

I want to get this so bad. Been thinking honestly for my daughter as a Christmas gift although her favorite shades are in the brown family but it still looks real pretty. I think Iโ€™m more liking it for myself but I have probably many dupes somehow but Want! Want!

Colors werenโ€™t what I thought theyโ€™s be. The PR shots not accurate at all. Warmer than I wanted by a lot. Interesting, eh?
