The Body Shop Refreshes for Holiday 2018 with Peppermint Candy, Vanilla Marshmallows, and More!
The Body Shop Holiday 2018 has gotten a reboot and a refresh this year with three new fragrances for the Holiday 2018 and I couldn’t be happier. You see, there are times when tradition can be a good thing. For example, when Bath & Body Works failed to bring back Twisted Peppermint last year in a Fragrance Mist I was pissed and so was the rest of the beauty world. You just don’t cut off a much beloved fragrance like that.
Now, the Body Shop, well, they needed a bit of a refresh. They tend to lean on the same style fragrances almost every Holiday! Cranberries and apples and vanilla play an important role in their Holiday seasonal scents.
This year, they did refresh, and I couldn’t be happy. With some sadness I hate to say that their newest Holiday scents are not available in EDTs as they normally are but none the less they sound delicious and well worth hauling anyway!
Here’s the deets!
Good news, most of the seasonal favorites are 50% off so I went ahead and ordered some items today! I probably should wait for Black Friday but…you know how that goes!
One of the first scents that caught my eyes was Peppermint Candy! Anyone that knows me knows I love a good peppermint scent (I like cocktailing it with Snow Fairy). In the Summer months, it’s terribly refreshing and in the Winter it makes me think of Christmas and sparkling snow! The Body Shop’s Peppermint Candy smells just like crushed candy canes! Minty, fresh, tingling, and slightly sweet!
Unfortunately, cranberry makes a return for Holiday 2018! The Body Shop sure does love their cranberry scents. At a glance I was excited about Berry Bonbon as it looked new and I had visions of berries and chocolate run through my mind but this is actually a fruity, sweet cranberry scent which is fairly typical of the Body Shop around this time of the year! Oh well!
And now for the scent I’m most excited about! Vanilla Marshmallow! I’m all about marshmallow anything but take it and vanilla and put them together?! Yes, please!
And if you’re still in Fall mode, as I am, you might want to check out the returning favorite Vanilla Pumpkin!
Now if we could just convince The Body Shop to start doing EDTs again I’d be a happy girl!
