About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. So, you know when a headline crabs your attention and you just want to shake your fists and scream- right? Well this is the one for me. I have attempted to purchase one of these lipsticks for 2 years. I went to Italy over the summer- nope it’s the Valentine’s day collection- we had very long conversations the SA associates and me in Rome, Naples and Florence. So, now that it is finally released in the US, it released internationally weeks ago, the lipsticks are not in stock!!! I sent them an e-mail explaining my aggitation and here is their response.

    Dear Customer,

Thank you for contacting our Customer Service Department.

Please take into consideration that not all products existing in a country, are also produced in a different country. For instance not all articles produced in Europe, are also produced in USA.

You may want to try a equivalent product from our new ranges. Please talk to our staff in a store directly to have the best advices or if you wish we can ask our Make-up team.

Please do not hesitate to contact us should you need any assistance.

    Yours sincerely,
    KIKO MILANO Customer Services

So in fact, will these lipsticks be released in the United States? and if not why are they even on the website. I am on the verge of giving up. But on another note, Hugs to you Muse, sorry to be such a downer today.

aw sorry Anna 🙁 I didn’t even notice them showing OOS when I posted this 🙁 I purchased them no issues about a year or two ago! Surprised they don’t have them again online 🙁 If I hear about them coming in stock will let ya know. Not a downer at all, I get the frustration!

I can’t decide if I need that eye palette so much that I’ll order it blind without swatches or if I should be good and wait! Either way, totally cute collection.

So if someone can please determine how to purchase the lipsticks in the United States from this collection, please leave a comment. I have contacted Kiko regarding the heart-shaped lipsticks and I am told that they will not be available in the United States unless you visit the New York store location- called them today and they have not received shipment of them according to a sweet SA. Thank you in advance.

That’s so odd! I hope they get them in stock. I purchased them last year or maybe the year before but they weren’t two toned. Hopefully they pop up in stock!

Hey Muse, I called the stores in the US today and only the New York store told me that they were expecting a shipment of four colors to arrive on Friday. For your lucky readers who live near that KIKO store, give them a call on Friday. Otherwise, no one seems to have an answer beyond the e-mail I received stating that not all items are available in all countries. I wonder if they haven’t been cleared for sale in the US?

        • Isabella Muse

thanks Anna for the tip! But why would they sell in store if they aren’t cleared for sale in the US? I would expect them to get them both in stores/online no difference between the two right? Weird.

          • Anna Maria Fantasia

That doesn’t make any sense to me either, Muse. So in this case the SA and the e-mail I received are in opposition to each other. I may call on Friday to see if in fact they did receive the shipment just because I am curious. V day is coming up fast so it can’t be delayed for too much longer. 🙂

          • Isabella Muse

I signed up to be alerted if they come in stock just in case! Let me know how it goes! good luck!

    • Anna Fantasia

LOL, I dont think it translates directly, but I can think of a few other words (and I’m sure Isabella can too) that out of respect for the readers I won’t list here.

haha…! I wish someone would tell me how to say clusterf*ck in Italian!
