About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. Don’t forget Dior also launched their new foundation in two different finishes. I’m interested in testing out the Laura Mercier and Dior’s, though I seldom wear full coverage.

I’m curious about Dior’s! Been reading a lot of good things!

  • Melaina

I’m really excited for Morphe’s new complexion line up! Foundation, concealer, primer and powders!

All I can see is that the prices are getting ridiculous everywhere.
Covergirl concealer at 12$? I don’t even pay that much for their 30ml foundation bottle.
Same thing for the L’oreal , a 30ml foundation at 15$ and the 10 ml concealer at almost the same price.
As for Nyx, they keep tricking their consumers into thinking they are cheaper when they are not, there’s only 3.5ml in the concealer bottle. What a scam!
I think concealer are the eye creams of makeup. You pay a lot of money for a tenth of the amount.
    Makeup is getting ridiculously expensive.

Although two totally different formulas, I’m super intrigued by the Sephora and Ulta launches. They both seem like they’d be so easy and straightforward to use, maybe? Seriously, no idea why, but I want to know more about both of them!

Personally, I’m waiting try the new Milani concealer releasing today!! I’ve been eyeing it since Christmas…

I purchased the L’Oreal infallible full wear concealer recently and I have to say, I really like it. It’s a really good size too although I am just using it for a spot concealing. They actually have several extremely fair shades which is going to be really help out a lot of us fair skinned ladies out there! When it comes to drugstore make up. I should I got is actually too late for me… This has never happened before and many of the drugstores lightest shade concealers are too light for me. It has a great finish on the scanner that is matte but not crackly through the day at least not on me over my skin care. It does have a very slight fragrance though which I am not a fan of it is terrible and it Does dissipate!
