Revlon PhotoReady Instant Cheek Maker for Spring 2019

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Revlon PhotoReady Instant Cheek Maker ($11.99) is the a new 2-in-1 blush and highlighter stick and possibly the next big gimmick to enter your beauty life that could potentially work! So, when I saw the promo image for this I was like, “Wait, what?”

If you don’t read the description you’ll probably stare at it a sec and think, is that a brush? What’s going on there? I know it took me a second to realize it was a cream blush/highlighter stick. The ergonomic shape is slightly misleading as it looks like a brush but in reality it’s a cream stick that’s shaped in a way to fit the contour of your cheek and give you that perfect blushed and highlighted look!

Who has thoughts of LOreal The One Sweep Eyeshadow? This just totally had me going back! Must be the “transform your look in one easy swipe” marketing!

I’m willing to try them as I do so love a glistening blush so at the very least maybe I can get a nice glowy look from Revlon Photoready Instant Cheek Maker.

Revlon launched these in three shade selections and they are starting to pop online for sale and should be available soon in stores too one would hope!

What do you think of Revlon PhotoReady Instant Cheek Maker?

Gimmick or brilliant?

Just saw these on the Ulta website…was thinking it might actually work! But would have to see the shades in person because they look pretty light. However, I love cream blush and if you could just swipe this up your cheek, how nice would that be?

I was thinking the same. Looks gimmicky but the shape actually does appear to fit into the hollows/contour of your cheeks well! Let’s see how it goes!

i dont see myself purchasing this and find the advertised application for this a bit gimmicky, and the fact i have oily skin, cream blushes just dont last on me. However, i think taking a duo fiber stipple brush and swirling it on the product, then onto the cheeks would create a pretty glow on the skin! I look forward to your review tho! 🙂

I also saw these on Ulta website and it looks really pretty. I found a review online and it got good reviews. I have it in my cart. Are you getting this Muse?

Anytime I see any of these one-step, swipe-on, striped products, I’m reminded of Dustin Hunter’s review of the L’Oreal One Sweep eyeshadow with the weirdly-shaped applicator that he referred to as a “goat’s toenail,” lol! One of my all-time favorite makeup reviews.

Those L’Oreal One Sweep shadows were the first thing I thought of when I saw this!

I’ve actually enjoyed a lot of Revlon’s new releases so this might be something I would try if Rite Aid or Ulta has a sale on their products. Anything to make my makeup routine less complicated in the morning is a positive for me.

Thus is one make up junkie that tries about everything in the drugstore but seats away from Revlon with a 9 inch stick! Lol! Every time I have tried one of their products it has been lousy and I’m pale and still no color payoff whatsoever. But I’d try the pink one out of curiosity if i saw it in a big clearance and only then and most probrably not work but I’ll give it a chance they might have improved? Never know? “♀️
Saw the new eyeshadows not tempted at all.

I immediately thought of those Loreal one sweep eyeshadows. Those ended up at our local 99 cent only stores. LOL

When will these Revlon cheek makers be available in Canada?? Can’t find them anywhere! Am soooo curious. Love Revlon and the new direction.
