Spring Makeup Things I Recently Hauled from Ulta and Several More I Still Need
It’s freezing outside but I’m all about new Spring makeup! And you’re not allowed to sit there and lie muttering about it being to cold to think about Spring anything never mind makeup! I bet you’re in a heavy sweater with your teeth chattering browsing Ulta.com and looking over all the new makeup and beauty goodies for Spring. I know I am.
I’m sort of in full-on Spring mode myself at the moment even though I actually love this cold! This cold was made for rushing home, putting on your PJs, and sitting on the couch with a warm blanket to watch Antique Roadshow. I do miss Fall though! It passed us by too quickly! And even though, I’m not a major Spring fan nor a Summer one I still like when new seasonal collections start to drop.
Ulta’s been busy releasing some fun stuff for Spring. I just recently purchased their new Juicy Jelly Peach Lip Gloss that I reviewed for you last week! Plenty of shine and plenty of moisture because the pitfall of cold weather is really chapped and dry lips. Joy!
Anyone try after I reviewed? After I brought the peach one I went back to grab up the others flavors since most of Ulta’s makeup collection is buy 2, get 2 free at the moment. I’m wearing peach below if you missed my review!
I also purchased Ulta’s new Jelly Gloss Lip Gel as well which I’ll review for you in more detail shortly! I’m liking this formula a lot! It’s quite hydrating, super shiny, and most important it’s pigmented AF. Both are great picks for super shiny Spring lips (and totally cool for the cold Winter weather we are having at the moment too!). By I digress, back to Jelly Gloss Lip Gel….! I think the thing that stood out and was unexpected with this formula was the pigment. I didn’t expect it to be so pigmented! I’m always the person spends $18 plus dollars on lipgloss that’s too damn sheer! This formula set me back $9 and blew me out of the water with the opaque color it provided. I’m wearing Boardwalk below which is a warm brownish pink. I’m all about brown toned pinks for Spring looks for some reason! On my eyes, my cheeks, and on my lips. I particularly like them on my lips with a nude eye and a pop of glowy peach blush! It’s a pretty and fresh Spring look that’s easy enough to achieve!
Ulta’s kind of been killing it with some of their newest releases so, I’ve created a wish list of a few other things I need to check out that they recently released!

Ulta also has a new Athleisure Skin and Makeup Collection for Spring 2019 and if nothing else we all know I’m so not into the Athleisure beauty trend. I do however, want to try a few items from this collection! They have a Active Neutralizing Banana Powder I want to snag. I know, I know! I just purchased two powders recently and reviewed them for you but I’m always looking for the next great under eye setting powder. Speaking of which this collection also has a HD Under Eye Setting Powder! But it’s transparent so the banana might be a better option for me! Ulta is also taking on the “cooling water stick” trend too with a Active Cooling Hydration Face Stick that hydrates and cools skin in a easy to travel with stick.
Now I’m just waiting for Spring 3-in-1 Smoothie Shower Gels to hit! Can we get a Jelly Bean scent this year!?
