About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. NO! I’m on a No Buy February. I missed out on the Lorac Desert Palette. I just need to tell myself, I don’t need another eye shadow palette. I don’t wear eye shadow.

I got that one FP from Ulta. Adore that and all the sunset palettes. But, like you, don’t do e/s as often as I might. You KNOW in the current m/u climate, it will be available later, through HL, Rack, jet, etc. maybe even Kohl’s. You don’t need it now, and it is not an endangered species. Some items are; this is not. Wait and stay strong. If you are still lemming in 2-3 months, it should be yours. Spring for it then.

I got all 3 Lorac Sunset palettes at this price from Nordstrom Rack last year and have been enjoying them as a kind of mega-palette. They all have nice shades, although Desert Sunset is my least favorite b/c it’s pretty much all mid-tones. The palettes are sleek & take up very little space:)
