Sol de Janeiro Coco Cabana Body Fragrance Mist Probably Won’t Last Long But I’ll Buy It!

Ahhh the intoxicating scent of Sol De Janeiro! Warm, tropical, delicious! It’s a highly addicting line of products to say the least and I bet you agree!

I reviewed the Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Crush Body Fragrance Mist several months ago and one of my biggest ranks was how weak it was. It’s such a fleeting fragrance that smells amazing but disappears within moments of misting it on. Such a shame, such a sad, sad, sad shame. I’d buy this in a perfume if they made it! Please, won’t you guys make this stuff stronger?

More recently Sol de Janeiro released their newest fragrance, Cocoa Cabana, into a fragrance mist and it already has pretty bad reviews. Yup, same issue! It’s weak! But I’ll buy it! This one has notes of coconut, toasted praline, and warm vanilla latte.

    I have the body cream of this. To me (especially on!) it smells like popcorn. Maybe the spray smells better?

      haha! I get that too when I smell it out of the jar but once applied smells way better on me! Tropical and yum!

      Buttered popcorn Jelly Bellys! I got a jar of the cream from Boxycharm. I need to try it and see if it settles better than it initially smells.

    You know how a lot of people have a genetic variation that makes cilantro taste like soap? I’m convinced I have one that makes this one smell like burnt popcorn. And everyone I know loves it! I need to smell the spray too to get to the bottom of this. I love the color of it at least

    thank god for reviews! i saw the same comments on sephora saying it didn’t last long on people. so annoying! i may try the lotion tho.

    I am using Brazilian crush body spray and it’s not weak on my skin. I spray it on my skin, hair and clothing. It is very noticable. As with any fragrance, it various with people’s skin. Some experience what you did but thankfully it wasn’t weak on me. I love it and highly recommend it. The scent is to live for. But I wonder how the two scents compare. I’m trying to find that out since I haven’t used Coco Cabana yet.

      sad sigh! wish it was the same for me! My body chem just swallows it up! 🙁 Lucky!!!!!!!!!! Coco Cabana is quite different! It’s a bit nuttier in my opinion! I actually prefer the original in comparison!
