Spring Makeup Things To Love at Sephora

Spring in the air! Sort of. It’s still quite cold in New York and apparently snow is being served up tomorrow but I’m all about Spring beauty and makeup. And like any good beauty junkie I have a Sephora wishlist about a mile long!

You know I’m a complete fragrance junkie right? I’m gagging to try out the new Moschino Toy 2 Perfume. I have the original and it goes all dark coconut on my skin! I’m hearing Two 2 is a cleaner, fresher fragrance! I was going to blind buy it but decided I’d race on over to Sephora to check it out this weekend! I also want to try out the newest Viktor & Rolf Magic scented called Salty Flower. It sounds like a lush, warm floral with notes of Frangipani Flower and Cashmeran!

I know many of you aren’t so into the fragrance aspect of beauty so I created a fun Spring list of makeup worth purchasing for Spring looks! One of the items being the amazing, incredible Natasha Denona Bloom Blush & Glow Palette. Oh my god it’s wonderful and renewed to excitement in makeup. It’s so fresh, so popping, so beautiful, and wonderfully formulated. Yes, yes, yes! I feel like Meg Ryan in When Sally Met Harry. Don’t hesitate on this one! Just buy it! It gives my cheeks the most gorgeous pop of coral! Paired up with a nude lip look it creates the perfect Spring look (and will work great in the Summer). Thank god for the Sephora Beauty Insider Program! I get Free Flash 2-Day Shipping thanks to the program plus I earn points (1 point for every $1 I spend) to use towards other beauty rewards in the future. Ive been pretty darn lucky with lucky with shipping lately! I get my order in like a day! Its literally FLASH shipping!

See some more of my picks for Spring below!

Speaking of beautiful ways to make your cheeks look fabulous did you check out the Clinique Cheek Pop On-The-Glow Trio Palette? Clinique launched one like this for Holiday 2018 and they are back with a new version that has three full-size powders for your face (highlighter, blush, and bronzer). Best part? It’s $29.50! The blush, Ginger Pop, combined with the highlighter, Pearl Pop, and a tiny touch of the bronzer creates a warm peachy glow!

As for lips, I like to go back to some old favorites! The sheer, delightful and universally flattering Dolce Vita Lipstick from NARS. This dusky rose will go great with any the palettes I discussed above. It’s just a sheer wash of color that enhances your natural lip color and gives lips a nice flush of natural color. If you want more pop go with the NARS Lipgloss in the same shade! It’s comes across much deeper and a bit more pink on my lips compared to the sheerer lipstick! The color gives a fun, flirty lip look for Spring!

But I know many of you already tried both of those already I bet am I right?

For those seeking new Spring lip looks checkout Bare Minerals new BarePro Longwear Lipstick. Bare Minerals launched these in an entire range of shades for Spring 2019 and I was intrigued but also, a little wary since they have a matte finish. I was quite happy with the formula and texture as it has a softer, creamy texture with a soft, creamy matte finish that was very comfortable to wear. This isn’t your traditional drying matte! It felt lightly hydrating and had a super easy glide on my lips. Plus it was packed with pigment I’m wearing the shade Nutmeg in my photo. It’s a rather strong brick red and likely not ideal for Spring looks but if you’re going softer and more natural with your eyes for Spring and a little bolder with your lips and it’s a fab little shade!

There are so many new makeup and beauty launches on the way for Spring that I’m pretty sure my current wishlist will getting bigger.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I’ve been eyeing those new Nars lip sets (the glossy tint and pencil), but I can’t decide which one (and can’t justify all three)! I’m glad lips are going back to a glossier look”I’ve been craving more natural looks lately.

thank GOD glossy lips are coming back ;-D those NARS sets are quite cute!

How dare you tempt me with the Natasha Denona blush palette?! LOL! I’ve been trying to resist since before it even launched. I got the Clinique palette that launched last time and am debating picking up this one. I’m not much for bronzing or corally/orange blushes, but it just looks so preeeety!

omgggg I love it! you need it! ;-D I love coral so that’s my downfall! Most fun I’ve had with makeup in a long time! It’s a killer palette ;-D

Excited for all these at Sephora! Torn between making a decision Milani’s three blush set or Clinique. I already gave all Mikanis blushes which I love but think probably the new trio and even the Luminoso palette might just be repeats of the ones I have. This Clinique palette I already own the bronzer from Milani and is so good very velvety smooth. Next I have collected all WetnWild matte lipsticks which I think they are just beyond awesome (except the covers which can come off but I figured how not to) except the dark browns which look bad on me I have each color of the rainbow Mauve Outta Here, Cherry Bomb, Rose Bud I really like to start with and I don’t find them drying at all I do wear chapstick under all and if I want a bit of gloss on top but they won’t budge! Amazing cheap little lipsticks can’t find a thing wrong with the actual bullet just amazing! Awww so many choices! Really tempted to get the Luminisi palette but then I think is similar to the round blushes that came out before that are divided into blush, highliter, bronzer those are real pretty! But why not? Lol! “♀️
I’m into blush lately. So many lipsticks and eyeshadows also blushes I’m reducing my shopping habits for a while. Oh and highliters loved trying the Physians Formula so smooth and like a wet look in my rather dry face. WetnWild again makes excellent ones and Milani for drugstore.
