There’s the Tova Eau de Parfum Discovery Collection for Those Of Us With Older Souls

I was happy to see the Tova 8-Piece Eau de Parfum Discovery Collection pop up on qvc.com last week because sometimes I like an older, more mature fragrance. Tova fragrances remind me of something my grandmother might use or smell like! They also remind me of old Hollywood perhaps something you’d catch Joan Crawford wearing at the Academy Awards.

Tova Signature is one of my best loved scents by the brand and quite reminds me of Marilyn Miglin Pheromone Musk but a lot less harsh. It’s a lovely, powdery white musk.

I love this set as it includes eight different 0.5 oz perfume sprays (no dabbers thank god) in a gorgeous gift box. I purchased it for travel and also, because there are two scents I never tried which I wasn’t willing to splurge on full-sizes in a blind buy so this set lets me try them before I decide if I need them in a larger size!

You get:

  • Tova Signature Eau de Parfum in Summer
  • Tova Signature Eau de Parfum in Autumn
  • Tova Signature Eau de Parfum in Turquoise
  • Tova Signature Eau de Parfum in Nirvana
  • Tova Signature Eau de Parfum in Signature
  • Tova Signature Eau de Parfum in Ambre D’Oro
  • Tova Signature Eau de Parfum in Nights
  • Tova Signature Eau de Parfum in Platinum

It’s $69 plus $3 shipping.

If you like more mature, vintage glamorous fragrances this set is perfect for you!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. This seems like a great deal! But my grandmother wore White Shoulders (gag gag gag)

oh no worries there, this isn’t like white shoulders! that stuff is awful :-/ That’s a real GRANDMA scent!

      • Beth

Hahahahaha I remember sneakily spraying myself with my mother’s bottle of white shoulders in my early teens lol…that’s a throwback

Wow, I was just cruising Marilyn frags on on her site and QVC. Running out of Destiny powder, and now they don’t make it. Destiny, I think, is an atypical white floral, not the usual notes. Def an original Pheromone girl, though I doubt that true pheromones play any part. It works so well with winter body heat. Being a crime devotee, I never think of Marilyn ( I have her m/u, too) without being amazed at how she presented on tv, right after her husband was so viciously murdered, and with what grace and privacy she handled the lurid 3 ring circus that was Cunanan. These Tovas sound fab, up my Age St., and I’ve never heard of Tova. Thanks for a good tip. I’ll research on fragrantica. Yay, Yesstyle came today. est 7 weeks. More cosrx, etc, unavailable other sites, all anti-inflammatory skin care. Who knew that Hong Kong was located on Neptune, for the time it takes….

I love her stuff! ;-D Her pheromone blends are fab! I doubt it too but they smell great ;-D Too true too true! LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL! Neptune! haha!

My late mom liked the original Tova – I had to order it for her after she discovered shopping channels on TV. Tova herself is a lovely lady and I’ve been wondering if she’s still on the Q.

I’ve been buying and wearing Tova Signature and Nights from when she had her own salon and QVC and don’t understand the grandma comment. I get compliments almost every time I wear it from all ages and genders and panicked when I thought it wasn’t coming back. I couldn’t find anything else as nice. Was glad I stockpiled a few bottles. It’s all I’ve worn since I first heard about it and that has to be close to 30 years, give or take a couple years. It stays with you but doesn’t overpower or offend anyone. I love it.

I always associate powdery, aldehydic fragrances with something my grandmother would love! Tova’s scents do remind me of a more mature, vintage scent ;-D Regardless, it’s still beautiful and if you love fragrance indeed it doesn’t matter your age/gender you can enjoy it ;-D

Have you tried the Besame scents? If so, how do these compare? 🙂

I haven’t! I’ve always wanted to but never indulged!
