Bronzer season is headed our way and brushes like the Real Techniques Face + Body Blender ($14.99) might just come in handy of you’re a bronzer kind of girl or guy! I’m not. A bronzer girl that is. I purchased this on a whim in the hopes I could recreate the joy that the Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Airbrushing Kabuki Brush brought me! I have a thing for larger flat top brushes like this as I find they apply powders and foundations so very flawlessly. This is the real I purchased the new Real Techniques Face + Body Blender!
This is a dense, domed brush with a short pink handle that has stiff but soft bristles that blend and buff foundations, bronzers, or even highlighters on your face or even your body. If you’re one for applying bronzer or highlighter on your chest or shoulders this brush will come in might handy. It fits the balm of my hand quite nicely and allows me to hold it steady as a easily buff powder or minerals into my skin. I’m a not a huge mineral foundation wear nor a powder one however, I actually like the way powder looks on my face when it is applied well. This brush allows me to buff powders to a smooth, even finish without looking powdery or dry!
It also works a treat applying and buffing in bb creams or cream foundations. The shorter bristles act to thin out the formula you’re working for which results in a smoother more flawless finish!
It’s a handy brush to have around if you wear powder or mineral foundation for sure but also, works well with other formulas!
Real Techniques Face + Body Blender didn’t quite remind me of my beloved Physicians Formula kabuki but it didn’t slack either! It’s worth a look at!
