Tarte Icy Betch Eyeshadow Palette Available Now! No, This Isn’t a Joke!

Tarte Icy Betch Eye & Cheek Palette is now available at tartecosmetics.com and no, it isn’t an April Fool’s Joke this year! After posting this palette on social media last year only later to reveal it was all a joke left some fans heartbroken but this year, there is no trick, no joke, Tarte has in fact brought Icy Betch Eyeshadow Palette to life for a limited time and it’s available today for $24! Granted, it isn’t as big as the palette they tricked us with but it’s still an assortment of icy cool blues and aquatic teals that might get you excited!

Five matte eyeshadows, 4 luster eyeshadows, and one icy cold highlighter is what you’ll find tucked into this palette! I’d say Elsa would approve.

I dunno of it evokes Spring but it sure will pair up brilliantly with the recently launched Tarte High Tides & Good Vibes Eyeshadow Palette. You might even find a dupe or two in there!

The Tarte Icy Betch Eye & Cheek Palette is available now.

Will you be buying it?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I am interested in this. But I want to wait for swatches and reviews. Are you getting this Muse?

      • Maria

What else did you get for $40 free shipping Muse? Just wondering. Thanks.

        • Isabella Muse

some of the sugar rush stuff! 5/$25! Everyone keeps raving it so I gave in 😀

        • Agona

That took me awhile to ponder too because I didn’t want anything else. I settled on their Lights, Camera liquid eyeliner because I haven’t tried it yet and neither Ulta or Sephora carries it (I always use a liquid liner for weekends).

  • Dee

I won’t. The colors don’t appeal to me at all but that could be because I have blue eyes and this would offer no contrast at all!

This one is a total disappointment in comparison to the fake Tartelette Icy Betch palette. Also pretty funny timing, with the Jeffree Star Blue Bloods palette releasing tomorrow!

    • Isabella Muse

too true too true! It’s way smaller! Yes! Seems like everyone wants in on the game of thrones walker look! lol!

    • Agona

Hahaha, is blue the new green?? I thought it was going to be a green year!!

  • CL

I won’t be buying it unless I need it for Halloween. I’d look really crazy in those shades. If I were 21 years old and into nightclubbing, I’d buy it.

  • Agona

Thanks for letting me know. I never check tarte’s site and don’t get their emails since I usually buy from Sephora or Ulta. I love blues so I hauled this!

    • Isabella Muse

My pleasure ;-D I got it too! I used to love aquas/blues! I couldn’t resist!

I want to like it, but I can’t stand when companies make palettes with wonky layouts. The bottom right pan is just killing me. Who designed this?!

    • Isabella Muse

I think those are meant as liner shades that’s why they designed it like that! But I totally understand what you mean!

    • Agona

I TOTALLY feel you on this. I bought it…but I’ll likely eventually declutter it for that reason alone.

This is such a riot. First the April fools Icy Betch, then the Indies ran with it. I got the Sydney Grace No Joke bundle already. SG is far more reliable than Tarte. Sure I need none of this. But very glad Tarte listened, when there was an uproar over the vapor palette. Pretty sure that was what caused Tarte to turn the corner. Almost sounds like a business school case, in the days of social media. I can imagine the case write up now…..

    • Agona

KJH, what was the Vapor palette? I totally got SG’s No Joke bundle too!! I haven’t had the chance to play with it yet though.

  • Mariele Storm

Woah! I want it! I’m getting it! I have blue eyes and there just isn’t enough blue out there for them.

  • Kay

Just the other day I was craving shades like these and just couldn’t find anything as bright and cool in my collection, so this is super tempting. However, what is with that enormous pan of highlighter?! I’m never going to use that! For 21 in the UK though I’m going to have to have it, maybe I will use the highlighter after all!

Well, I ordered the Betch since I just received a sephora giftcard, but I am in fact disappointed, since my favorite shade was cut from the original conception of the palette. It’s nice that they finally sort of listened to their consumers, but hell, couldn’t they have done this last year before we all bought a boatload of blue singles trying to dupe this out, and sixteen other green or blue palettes have come onto the scene? Yes, yes they could have.

I did see the other new tarte palette in store yesterday, and it’s super gorgeous. I’d wishlist it for the silver shade alone, but the vibrant colors are amazing too.
