Guerlain L’Essentiel Natural 16H Wear Foundation SPF 20 already launched in Canada, parts of Asia, and Europe but Sephora wanted to gently remind you it’s coming to the US in September/Fall 2019.

Wait, what?

Is this a misprint?

I was sort of shocked to see on Sephora’s site they have this as arriving 09/01. WTF though…? That feels like a hundred years away!

The word is out that Guerlain’s newest foundation is a keeper. L’Essentiel Natural 16H Wear Foundation is a natural, lightweight foundation that contains an SPF 20. This formula provides a hydrating feel with a creamy formula that blends easily that has a soft, even, natural finish. Apparently it contains up to 97% naturally-derived ingredients and wears for 16 hours.

It sounds very lightweight and sheer which I’m quite ok with as I do so love a my skin but better look.

When it does arrive in the year 2020, kidding, kidding, but anyway, when it does launch it’ll be available in 30 shade selections. One thing to take note of is it does have a fragrance and it’s not Guerlain’s typical violet fragrance.

This has a musky, woody fragrance with white-almond top note and a delicate middle note of white tea reveals a soft, creamy sandalwood base note. Sounds lovely but not ideal for anyone who’s sensitive to fragrance!

I suspect Guerlain L’Essentiel Natural 16H Wear Foundation will arrive sooner than Fall 2019 I hope!
