About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Absolutely adorable, and how perfect for the ‘older’ children, who still insist on baskets, despite being 20+!

that’s not me. I never get an Easter basket. No way! LOL ;-D

If your parents have passed the Pearlies, recreate what they did for you, when you’re doing ones for others! Include a solid Belgian chocolate rabbit. I never knew Easter could get OOC, until a customer told me she was getting her kid a bike for Easter. (really? WTF.). Being naturally snarky, I put on my most innocent face and said, ‘How do you get a basket that big?’

        • Isabella Muse

LMAO OMG! Easter has always been about the chocolate and cute tiny little toys! My sister and I do baskets for each and we include really silly things like deo, notepads, pens, candy, etc..! But a bike!? Damn! That’s some Easter bunny!

Speaking of GOT: was at Walmart this weekend and saw 4 “Walmart Exclusive” CoverGirl eyeshadow palettes that are completely inspired by GOT and I would assume in direct competition with the UD GOT release. You couldn’t open them to see them but on the back there are pics/names of the shadows. Anyway, the packaging is all very regal looking and the palettes have names like royalty, etc. Can’t remember the exact names but you could tell they are definitely inspired by GOT.

GASP! WHAT! I’ve been hunting down GOT oreos at Walmart no luck! But first I’m hearing about Covergirl Palettes OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, after an exhausting search I found the palettes. The names are: Ascension, Overthrown, Reign, Revolution. According to the Walmart website they are $14.98 each. Looks like there are 12 colors in each palette. I didn’t buy any because I wanted to see the colors and the palettes are taped shut. I’m not one of those Walmart people who open makeup. And thankfully at this Walmart the makeup isn’t locked up – yet. So be on the lookout for them next time you’re at Walmart.
