Pur Minerals Festival Eyeshadow Palette Actually Has Me Excited About Festival Makeup

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Pur Minerals Festival Eyeshadow Palette ($36) rocking my Monday at the moment. I’m rarely excited about festival makeup. I admit it the endless articles about how to keep your eyeshadow wearing long and strong during Coachella makes me mentally roll my eyes.

Anyway…!

I can get excited about festival makeup if it’s as cool as this new Festival Eyeshadow Palette from Pur Minerals. This is actually gorgeous! This contains 12 press pigments. Note: Pressed pigments likely means they aren’t safe around the immediate eye area according to our government and they’ll likely stain your lids a la the Anastasia Beverly Hills Riviera Eyeshadow Palette!

That being said, these still look amazing. It’s a mix of shimmers, mattes, and glitter shades in some gorgeous pops of color! The whole bottom row featuring those delicious raspberry reds! It looks like a warmer palette for the most part but they have a pop or two of outrageous pinks and purples that tips it into the interesting zone.

Shades include:

  • Free Spirit (iridescent white gold with silver flecks)
  • Psychedelic (metallic gold)
  • Good Vibes (metallic copper)
  • Peace (metallic bronze)
  • Epic (matte pastel peach)
  • Gypsy (satin electric purple)
  • Wild Child (matte neon pink)
  • 24K Magic (glitter gold)
  • All Night (dark chocolate brown)
  • Hidden Desert (matte cinnamon brown)
  • Sunset (coral shimmer pink)
  • Fireworks (glitter ruby red with gold flecks)

I need the Pur Minerals Festival Eyeshadow Palette in my life! I’m definitely buying this one!

omg thanks for the heads up now I feel bad bc I purchased it ugh! You’re SO sweet thank YOU for the offer!!!!!!!!!

      • Lacy

No problem! Figured it’d go to a good cause! Hopefully you’re not also a boxycharmer lol!

I could still send it and you could use for a give away cause otherwise it’ll collect dust since I don’t foresee my friends who I usually give away to wanting it. And some are boxycharmers too so… lol

I love your reviews and at first I was disappointed that I was getting this in April’s Boxycharm. Then I looked at your post and I’m actually kind of excited. There are a few colors I definitely can’t wear at age 55 but there are some that I think will be beautiful used in moderation. I’m looking forward to seeing your full review.

Hi Lisa! I think it’s a pretty fun palette! I probably wouldn’t use all the shades either but some of the colors look quite doable ;-D I hope you enjoy it! I’m awaiting mine in the mail and will def swatch as soon as it arrives;D

Cute palette and I like the inspiration. I’ll see if I’m able to find it in Canada. As I see in comments, it’s a BoxyCharm item, there may be some available on selling sites in the future if local shops don’t have it.

The pink (Wild Child) definitely stained my lids, even after a good micellar water and cotton pad scrub. It’s super pretty though. Haven’t tried the purple. No issues with the shimmers and neutrals. The glitters pack on nicely with a brush.

    • Isabella Muse

oh no! I had the same issues with the new ABH palette! Those press pigments are hard to get off!

      • Lisa

My lids had a bad reaction to this palette and swelled up and were itchy for days. Just too intense I guess.
