Sephora Color Enhancing Lip Oil A More Hydrating Clinique Black Honey?

Sephora Color Enhancing Lip Oil is a totally weird release of a product. I mean, here’s a product that has a ton of interesting potential. A lip oil in a solid form that’s loaded up with hydrating ingredients and provides a hint of color. From the looks of things Sephora went all Clinique Black Honey on us with the shade. And here in, lays the problem for me, why release this in a single shade!? Why not do a few!? Are there plans to expand the collection with more shades soon? I have doubts! Looks like Color Enhancing Lip Oil is a one-offer but hey, it’s an affordable $10 bucks and maybe it’ll a more hydrating version of Clinique Black Honey!

Sephora Color Enhancing Lip Oil is available now and so, is the Joker trailer for your geeky viewing pleasure. How’s Joaquin doing with that twisted AF role?

As for me? Well, Jared ruined all other actors for that role as far as I’m concerned. Pimp Joker is all I need in my life! The grillz, the cane, the long purple croc coat, it’s all sheer perfection.

Who’s your Joker?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Hmmm hopefully this shade doesn’t turn a garish shade of neon pink on me like the original black honey. But yeah, why only one color? And this seems more of a fall shade than a spring release. Odd.

I personally looooove Black Honey, so this is something I’m pretty excited about. It translates as a really pretty deep pinky red on my lips and is super flattering on my olive skin tone. I’m all about sheer color and hydration over more opaque products, so this is exactly what I’m looking for. I hope it’s good.
Also, I’m mad that JL isn’t Joker in this movie. I honestly hadn’t even realized he wouldn’t be in it… I love his version of Joker. I also don’t like Joaquin Phoenix, so that doesn’t help, haha. Oh well.

I do too! Def one of my fav berry shades! I hope it is too! I’m hoping for something a bit shinier than Black Honey! ME TOO! He would be brilliant! I adore his version too! I do like Joaquin, he’s a fairly good actor, not sure how I like him in this role though….!

Same, Kimmyyy! Love love love Black Honey (it was my first lip color product in 7th grade, I still remember how grownup I felt with that super slim metal tube) and much prefer sheer moisturizing tones over any opaque lip colors. I never wear lipstick, if I want color I go for tinted balms and such. And oils? Love em! I am going to be all over this!

The best dupe for Black Honey is Chapstick Total Hydration Oil in Sheer Plum. I am dating myself but when Black Honey first came out it was in a little pot and this looks exactly like that.

Heath Ledger is the only Joker. Except maybe Mark Hamill when he’s doing the voice acting in video games.

Mark Hamill will always be THE Joker, disregarding cartoon vs. live action. With that signature twisted laugh, nobody can match what he did for Batman the Animated Series.
