About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Hmmmm. Not sold. It looks as if they are trying a discover card type approach. I don’t even know how to use the Amazon dollars i’ve accrued.

I’m trying to avoid the Sephora credit card. I have enough cards now.

I’m gonna need some clarification from Sephora on exactly what those “rewards” are. Because the last thing I need is to amass more of their useless points.

States this at the bottom of the site.

I read that fine print, but I find it confusing. Does it mean we would get a straight 4% cash back? Or would we be issued equivalent points? I currently have 4000 points saved up at ULTA, which translates into $250 I can spend there on whatever I want. I can’t picture Sephora meeting or beating that!

I think it means cashback on your account balance! Like the Amazon store card!

Yeah, that’s not worth it to me. I’ll continue making my (very rare) Sephora purchases with my Ultamate MasterCard.

Just got mine yesterday. 🙂 I love my Ulta card because of the points system. Sephora’s point system always seemed lacking to me until a few weeks ago when I realized I could trade in 2500 points for a $100 gift card. I don’t know if that is a new perk or I just have never seen it before but it makes the points worth something to me finally which makes the credit card worthwhile to me as long as I pay it in full each month. Lol. I wonder if I can save the 15% welcome and stack it with the 20% Rouge code. I really want that NudeStix Nude Beach kit at Ulta and Sephora just added it. 35% off would be lovely. Although points toward a bill credit is fine too.
