The Inkey List Is Now At Sephora and The Prices Are As Awesome as The Ordinary

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Under $15 skincare? Sign me up! The Inkey List is a new line of skincare that focuses on a single ingredient! One ingredient, that’s it! Minimalists and budget-friendly shoppers might just love this concept as you aren’t the break and you can mix and cocktail a variety of formulas that will be customized to exactly your skincare concerns!

It’s a bit like the Ordinary in terms of prices but the skincare selection is a bit more minimal in terms of ingredients. The Inkey List is a UK-based company founded by former Boots branding developers Colette Newberry and Mark Curry. The line focuses on concerns like dullness, dryness, oil control, etc…! With ingredients like hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, retinol, and salicylic acid.

I have to admit I like the idea of a simple line of skincare without a ton of fragrance and fillers. It’s not only better for your skin but it also makes mixing and cocktailing a lot easier as well!

The Inkey List is available exclusively at sephora.com and launched a few short days ago and will be in Sephora stores April 26!

Will you be indulging? I want to try a few items but I’m in the process of working through Beautylish’s Good Molecules Collection and don’t want to mix too many things up while I’m testing something else!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I would love to try to these items, but the ones I want contain propandiol which is another name for propylene glycol. I am allergic to it. So many brands and products contain it. It goes by many other chemical names as well. So sad.

I have the Polyglutamic Acid in my cart right now and will be purchasing tomorrow when the sale starts. Not that I need a sale since it’s so cheap already. I am excited as I don’t know that I have tried this particular ingredient and it claims to hold 4 X the moisture as hyaluronic acid. My dry skin will hopefully drink it up. It’s nice to have more affordable versions of skin care out there. I like the Ordinary as well. What did you think of the Drunk Elephant balm cleanser? Are you still testing it out? Will buy tomorrow if you love since we seem to enjoy the same type of cleansing experience. 🙂

I got that too! Looking forward to trying it! Still testing! But review upcoming within next few days ;-D! To be continued…! 😀

The prices really aren’t that great. They are about double (or more) the price of the ordinary because virtually all of their products are 1oz size or less.

I purchased the lactic acid( it arrived damaged, half the bottle missing, spilled all over the box), hyluronic acid and caffeine eye cream. Sephora sent me a new bottle no charge, however I returned the damaged bottle( they had told me to keep it, but I didn’t understand their email). Its a very liquidy product.

Looking forward to seeing your opinion of Good Molecules & The Inkey List. After using a lot of The Ordinary for over two years, I was eager to try the GM 7 products when they launched, but in less that two weeks I had to stop…my bad! I should have paid more attention to the ingredients. I went back to my Tatcha and K-beauty products, until I saw YTuber Gothamista review The Inkey products…so it was an immediate Sephora “send”…love that flash shipping. I began using a few items this past Monday. Interesting line…I love that the creators are from Boots in the UK. Now I’m going to use my 20% and order more, because the product sizes are small. My darn basket is already overflowing with new Fenty stuff and Tatcha re-buys etc…lol!

On the way with GM! I have tried quite a few pieces from the line since the launch and about ready to review ;-D A lot of GM’s line wasn’t quite great due to ingreidents! I didn’t pay much notice either until after I purchased! Some items are good but I think the could have done much better (others not so much with ingredients like alcohol yak). Haha I totally know what you mean! I went a little wild!
