Byredo Sundazed Is On My Summer Fragrance List!

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Cotton Candy, juicy citrus notes, lemon, and sugar put it all together and you have Byredo Sundazed Eau de Parfum the Summer 2019 scent from the brand. Reviews are in and feelings are mixed but I’m all about trying out Byredo Sundazed for myself so I added it to my Summer Fragrance list! I went to Barney’s yesterday after brunch but didn’t see it on counters yet! I’m wildly curious about the notes of lemon and cotton candy how will that work?

I’m hearing it’s sweet, with juicy lemon notes, and just a touch of cotton candy in the background. It also contains notes of jasmine, musk, and neroli! I’m not a massive cotton candy person but I do like the idea of a combination of lemon and cotton candy together. The cocktail intrigues me!

Has anyone smelled Sundazed yet?

Thoughts?

Do share them!

Byredo Sundazed is available now.

That sounds right up my alley! I just bought Jo Malone Frangipani during the sale and while it smells very pretty, it’s super floral. I was expecting it to be a bit sweeter. I’ve always wanted to try Byredo fragrances but they are just so darn spendy. Can’t wait for your review on the magic salty flower cuz that has been on my list foreva. 🙂

It sold out before I could decide if I wanted it grrrr! I was hoping for sweet so you eased my mind saying it was more floral ;0D Coming soon!!!!!! ;-D <3!

This sounds like a great sunshiney fragrance for late Spring and the summer to come! Great review! Have always been intrigued by Byredo as a house, and this sounds like another offering I’ll be compelled to sample. Thank you for your in-depth reviews as always,

Hi Abby! Thank you so much for your kind words but this isn’t a review as per the post it’s on my “to buy list” 🙂

I know you did a post about fragrances before and it’s so difficult to describe a fragrance or even how the notes will compliment one another or overpower. When I think cotton candy the first thing that comes to mind (you may not remember this one) is a fragrance called Pink Sugar. I saw some Flower bomb on your Sephora list that I was not familiar with or new existed but I saw the FB Nectar online so I ordered that on the last day of my discount. My favorite was Daisy Honey which they discontinued.

Yup! That’s where my mind goes when I think of Cotton Candy! Right to Pink Sugar which I hate! yuck! So if this has notes like that I’ll likely hate it! I think you’ll like nectar it’s way easier to wear compared to the original FB! There are new oils that V&R has that you can combine with FB to create different scents ;D

I would pay admission just to sniff your curated perfume collection!

I sampled this today. I’m a guy and love it! I am a neroli fan but honestly don’t get much neroli or cotton candy from this. It is strange but I get a color and a soap. It flashes “purple” and ivory soap to my nose / brain, which is a really cool effect.

    • Isabella Muse

Mmmmm! Soapy? Like a clean soap or more of a fresh laundry/cotton type scent? I like neroli too and it seemed intriguing combined with the cotton candy!

      • Michael

the “soap” element to me is dial soap, or maybe ivory soap, if you know those, and it is only in the background. Not in a bad way at all. I wore it again and the “purple” note is a lot like a focused (as opposed to hazy) and sweet violet that sits on top of the soapy note. That soapy note only occasionally shows its stuff, i think it is more there to lift everything up. Overall it confuses me. It certainly synthetic but in a charming way. And it just smells freaking great, so there’s that!

Mmm sounds Guerlain-ish! Hey, freaking great works for me! This might be a blind buy 😉 I looked for it at Neiman Marcus earlier this week but not on counter yet :-/ boo!

I love this! Get the hair mist! It’s only $75 and wears beautiful on skin! I’m so happy I have it! I’m thinking of getting the hand cream too!
