Sephora Beauty Insider Spring 2019 Bonus Event

I was compensated by a brand or company but all thoughts and opinions are my own and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

If you’re somehow not yet a Beauty Insider you can still sign up to be one at sephora.com! Beauty Insiders not only get to take part in the Sephora Beauty Insider Spring Bonus Event but many other events throughout the year as well as gain points and rewards redeemable towards merchandise available Tuesdays and Thursdays during Sephora’s Rewards Bazaar as well as in store at checkout for a variety of sample and sample sets as well as free makeup overs, a special Birthday gift, and more. If you reach Rouge status you’ll also be get free standard shipping, early access to newly launched beauty, a chance to redeem points for a $100 Reward, and more.

I have to admit the chance to enjoy 20% off all of my favorite brands makes my Rouge Membership totally worth it. Sephora typically has this event during the Holidays and again, in the Spring and I’m always prepared with a wish list at the ready for items I want!

I was actually pretty well organized this year and made a list and everything of staples I wanted to pick up like Shiseido Benefiance WrinkleResist24 Intensive Eye Contour Cream! I try so MANY different eye creams but I always come back to Shiseido formula because I find it so moisturizing. I wouldn’t say it’s done anything for my finer lines but it does a heck of a lot for my dry eyes! Anyone use it?

I also repurchased a few Drunk Elephant essentials. I swear Drunk Elephant Skincare has been such a weird trip for me. I was convinced it wasn’t working at all but the more I used it the more I noticed the different in my skin not to mention on the days I wasn’t using it how my skin would look so much better when I was. I repurchased Drunk Elephant C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum and T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial 25% AHA + 2% BHA Mask. I also added some new items into my cart to check out like the A-Passioni Retinol Cream we discussed a few weeks ago. There’s so much hype around this product I thought I had to try it for myself! I’m actually also in the process of testing out Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser which might be a great pick up with your discount! I’ll share my thoughts on it soon! Oh by the way, I also picked up the Drunk Elephant Baby Pekee Bar + Juju Bar Travel Duo! Does anyone use these? I always like solid cleansing bars (I’m a big fan of April’s Skin Magic Stone Black)! But really, my most important purchase was C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum! Did you know did you know Vitamin C really beefs up your sunscreen!? When Drunk Elephant recommended using Vitamin C in the day on their instructions I was a little skeptical as it was always a treatment I used in the evening. Turns out the combination of Vitamin C and sunscreen actually it slows the rate of free radical damage!

Other skincare purchases I made….!

I think I’m good for a while haha…! I’m really curious about the Inkey List! It’s already affordably priced but with the extra 20% off it’s even better!

I did want to try some new skincare out so, looks like I did pretty well with all the above. Speaking of new, Fresh has a new Rose Deep Hydration Moisturizer I’m loving at the moment. They sent me a sample of the smaller $15 0.5 oz jar and I loved it so much I grabbed the larger size during the sale. It has a gel-like texture that absorbs super fast and not only hydrates but it also retains moisture really well which makes my face really smooth and well hydrated throughout the day but not greasy or oily. I think this might turn into my Summer moisturizer!

And yes, I did get some makeup as well! It all wasn’t skincare but that’s for another post 🙂

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I also ordered the Inkey List caffeine eye cream. I also ordered the Sol de Janeiro Glowmotions, a Fenty brush to apply the glowmotions, the laneige lip glowy balm in berry, Jo Malone orange blossom hair mist, a supergoop shimmering cream shadow, and the Moschino-Sephora toy honey mask. I may go back for the new CT blush/highlighter you just posted about.

TO buffet w/copper and HA w/B5, Algenist eye serum for me. The Volition intro set for a b’day gift, and a couple of house brand pearl sleeping masks. Killed that S no buy this week, but at least I waited. I REALLY want Purito Buffect, because, uh, Centella, and you turned me into a Seoul searcher! Purito is coming in a close second to Cosrx for me.

I was totally only going to get two packs of Shiseido cotton squares and the purple Viseart palette, but I’ve gone a little nuts. Did not do the Ulta sale, but putting Bite products half off during a 20% sale messed with my will power. Plus, this is a looong sale, and with free shipping, I’ve ordered too much more, including another Hello Fab Coconut Water Cream and a FAB kit with full sized Primer Moisturizer (I tend to make a sandwich with SPF in between) , a huge Lancôme eye makeup remover with travel size, Inkey List Q10 serum, a Peekee Bar for when mine runs out, same for The Ordinary Niacinamide, the Dr Jart ceramide serum/toner, and the Kevyn Aucoin Emphasize palette. So far two Sephora Collection liquid eyeshadows are all that’s going back. This is the last year I’m ever going to be Rouge and I’ve been low buy so far. This is probably my final Sephora purchase of year.

LOL! The bite beauty got me on my second go around! can you tell me more about the peekee bar? I ordered the duo. Any good for dry skin? Fantastic haul!!!!!!!!!

I haven’t used bar cleanser in years and am not as dry as you, but my nighttime routine had gotten out of control and this, along with a makeup eraser, simplifies it. It doesn’t dry me out, maybe because I use a lot of emollient products, but I am also never shiny”just glowy”from adding this into my routine.

that sounds fine by me! I was thinking of using it as a second cleanse item! It sounds simple and nice I’m cool with that!
