The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser Might Be Great For Us Dry Skin Folks

Did you know our bodies naturally produce squalane? It’s pretty much a natural oil that everyone’s body produces but as we get older we have a lot less of it. We can get in more of it through diet as well as application of certain products and skincasre that contain it. It’s a moisturizing ingredient well worth adding to your regime! Recently, Beautylish’s Good Molecules range released a 100% pure squalane oil that can be added to your daily or nightly routine. It’s a great way to seal in all your products as the final step in your skincare routine.

You can also get your daily dose from the Ordinary’s 100% Plant-Derived Squalane as well as their new Squalane Cleanser!

The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser ($7.90) is a gently, highly moisturizing formula that removes makeup and leaves skin feel hydrated and smooth. And you guessed it, Squalane happens to be one of the first ingreidents it contains along with water and glycerine.

I recently started using squalane oil in place of rose hip and I’m liking the results. I feel like the formula seals in moisture very well which makes me curious about this cleanser as I’m one that always feels quite dry and stripped after cleansing! At this price, it’s worth a try right?

Squalane, Water, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Glycerin, Sucrose Stearate, Ethyl Macadamiate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Sucrose Laurate, Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysate, Sucrose Dilaurate, Sucrose Trilaurate, Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6, Isoceteth-20, Sodium Polyacrylate, Tocopherol, Hydroxymethoxyphenyl Decanone, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Malic Acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Chlorphenesin.

The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser is available now.

The Ordinary’s new cleanser is wonderful! It comes out of the tube as a cream. I dot my face and then get to massaging. It takes a while, but it turns into this slippery oil. I just rinse it off with water using my hands and my face is 100% clean. It doesn’t feel greasy afterwards, just soft. I like that you have to keep massaging it, because it makes my face feel good and it’s so nice to have a cleanser that truly removes everything. I use it on my very sensitive eyes with no irritation. They have really outdone themselves with this cleanser.

I absolutely love The Ordinary. I haven’t had a problem with any of them. Stuff that actually works and is cheaper than even drugstore!
