P.S. Anyone watching In the Dark? I finally caught the first two episodes and I’m enjoying it. I suspect I like it because my future husband, Casey Deidrick, is in it!

And P.S.S. I watched the New Kids on the Block Hanging Tough Special on youTube and felt like I was a tween girl fawning over Jordan Knight all over again. Ha..! I’m actually one of those passing fad NKOTB fans. I used to be in love with Jordan Knight but I quickly loss interest when Vanilla Ice hit the scene. But I promised my best friend Jai that I’d go see them in concert with him this weekend. I owe him a favor as he went to see BTS with me a few months ago even. Someone hold me, I’m so scared! I dunno if I can make it through a NKOTB concert!

    I’m enjoying In the Dark. I think this week is the finale. Casey’s a hottie.

    Also, I loved NKOTB as a kid. I saw them in concert with a friend a few years ago and it was like my little girl dreams came true. 🙂

      oh my gosh is he ever! I had sort of this passing fad with them! It was a quick love and done! Not as hardcore as some people are! I sort of mentally rolled my eyes when I promised to go haha…!

    I was kind of a closet NKOTB fan… Thought Jordan was HOT, but I was rocking out to GnR and Jane’s Addiction while my friends were hangin’ tough. I was a bit of a strange child.

      Days? my sister watches it too ;-D I don’t but she’s an avid watcher for years and years. She was that told me he was on there haha! He looks way better now imho!

    I didn’t know you are ARMY. Which concert were you at? I was not into NKOTB in their day but admire their dedication.

    Side note: Do you plan on reviewing the BTS x VT L’Atelier perfume? I’m intrigued but I would want to get a good sniff test before trying any.

      It really is a pretty palette! NY/NJ and also, LA! I am indeed ;-D Jungkook is my future husband, he just doesn’t know it yet lol! I was for a moment when I was super young but I’m really amazed how dedicated their fan base is as most people attending their concerts today are fans from wayyyyyyyy back! It’s amazing!

      I actually don’t get that launch! Isn’t it June 29th? Yet online sellers are already selling at jacked up prices. Retail $85 and sellers are getting $115-$120. The packaging is amazing though! I don’t even care about the fragrance just give me the packaging lol!

        I was at MetLife last month. So much fun. In the same row was a woman from Canada and another who had been at the LA one also. Namjoon captured me with his big, sexy brain but each of them has wrecked me at some point.

        I think the perfume’s already been at least previewed overseas, maybe? I loved the teaser ads myself.

        That Ulta coupon is still burning a hole in my pocket.

          I WAS TOO! Where in NY are you from? Or did you come to NY for the concert? It was a scary madhouse wasn’t it? Is it his IQ or his cute smile? Be honest with me lol! The ads were really cool! Did you by chance get any of those VT art in lucky matte cream shadows? They were pretty brilliant! Costly but I loved them! Me too! holding out on my Ulta coupon ;-D until they update with ALL the new goodies!

            Haha. I’m from the NJ side (I’m actually living in another state now but I stayed with family). Yes, the mass of people is a little intimidating though everyone had a pretty good attitude in my section. The only distress was in exiting the venue.

            It is definitely RM’s deathly combo of dimples and thoughtful words. The more I dig into his lyrics, the more impressed I am.

            No, I do not have any cream shadows. My Bangtan-related buying has been slow and I’m trying to be thoughtful about it. Those concerts tix were not cheap and then the merch… sigh. Though I couldn’t resist stopping by a Uniqlo to pick up a cute RJ tee.

            I would hold my coupon usually but they’re offering 5x points today and I think I should just pull the trigger. There are some CosRx things I’ve been eyeing.

            Oh awesome! Which state are you now in? I agree! Everyone was cool but exiting was a horror show. We ubered in which went well enough but coming out mass transit was impossible which we prepared for ahead of time so we just chilled and waited it out and met a few fans that kept us company during it as they were waiting out the storm as well! I literally had dinner with them this weekend as they are upstate NY. Really great people ;-D That’s one thing about the Army, it really pulls people together ;-D and the big brain of course ? haha I’m teasing you! 🙂 I was a little fanatic 3 years ago but I had to sit down and have a chat with myself about it LOL! Don’t shop Etsy! It’s a wormhole of BTS gear. YEAH! I saw that! Christine tweeted and I was like oh crap I better use my code as I have quite a few items in my cart might as well enjoy the gain pts and use them for Fall or Christmas hauls! Oh let me know if you need any COSRX recs ;D

            I’m in the Washington DC area now, it’s about a 3.5 hr drive to NJ which I do a few times a year. We parked at the restaurant Red’s which had shuttle service so we ate their both before and after. It was really funny seeing everyone streaming the Eat Jin afterwards at their tables. We had great convos with people waiting too but not enough to exchange numbers I guess. I will remember about mass transit being a mess. You just had to wait it out for the train? (Please let there be a next time.)

            I’m kicking myself that I didn’t find them until recently. I would have gone nuts for the Wings era. And too late about Etsy. I’ve been sticking to accessories and peripherals but this could get dangerous.

            Always open to suggestions. I was finally going to try the low pH cleanser.

            Yes. His brain among other assests. 😉 I’m trying to keep it clean for your blog here. Need I remind you that JK was not exactly legal three years ago? All I can say is they have all grown up nicely.

            Redd’s is nice! They also have paid event parking if you bring your own car. We decided to brave mass transit! It wasn’t as horrible as we thought it would be. It was about a 2 hour wait. We expected three + hours! so, it sort of worked out great and the company made it go faster as we just talked about the concert and the guys the entire time ;-D Do you enjoy any other k or j-pop groups?             Two hours isn’t terrible. It was such a nice night. I will consider mass transit in the future though Redd’s was very accommodating.

            I’ve loved some of the CosRx toners so I have high hopes for their cleansers. Also, some of the biore stuff came back in stock.

            This is my first full blown music fandom. Not very knowledgeable about J-Pop or Thai (?1) but I guess it’s inevitable that some info slips through. Thanks for the rec, I will def check this Mike out. I’m actually not into music that much at all which is why this obsession kind of caught me off guard. But I do think this speaks to the magic in their songs. I feel their music and they as a group are very special to reach people this way that’s not easily reproducible.

            And yes, these boys are younger than us. But as I always tell myself, they are all legal (now) and I am just looking, not touching. 😉

            PS I have not tried the game yet but I want too before too many spoilers reach me.

            It actually wasn’t any issue with transit delays just crowds/getting out. Oh yes I noticed that! I’ve been meaning to pick it up and compare it to the Japanese formulas. I’m curious if anything changed. Haven’t yet though ;-D Me too on CosRX, I swear by some of their essences! Are you into any K-Dramas? That’s a real wormhole you porbably should avoid lol! This is true! BTS does have a certain universal appeal because of the positive message they spread! LOL…! they are legal, we’re good even with Tom Holland even though he looks all of 12!

            I am a sucker for cleansing cloths cuz I am lazy so I’m always up to try a new one. Emily Noel actually has me back on the ones that you need to wet so they foam up. It’s super refreshing to use one in the afternoon during the summer.

            I haven’t watched a lot of K-dramas although my mom loves them and is really current on them. I did start Romance is a Bonus Book when it was recommended to me and I’m really liking it so far. Well scripted and acted and there is something satisfying in knowing that this is a close-ended story. There are not enough romance based series on American TV.

            What I’ve found fascinating with the army fandom is both the relations ship to the boys which makes their messages seem especially personal. And also within the fandom. See our messages here and your new friends from the concert. Despite the enormity and plenty of squabbles, the encounters are positive and fun.

            and yes, looking forward to more spiderman. Tom Holland is so poised for someone so young.

            You’ll like the Biore ones! ;-D I sort of savor my nighttime removal routine and only cleansing clothes when I wanna get to bed super fast! ;-D Kleenex had a nice range of products with cleansing clothes, etc… not sure if they dced the entire line but it was quite lovely you might want to google and see if you find any of it. jet.com might still have it ;-D it was a nice line! I haven’t watched Romance is a Bonus Book yet! I’m currently watching Nee Rak Nai Krong Fai a Lakorn but it’s slow going with the subtitling or at least it feels slow to me LOL as I just want all the episodes now now now! And I agree again, there really isn’t a lot of romance! Mostly sex and shock value sex but nothing sweet or romantic! Sucks :-/ But not only Army! I always feel a lot of different fandoms bring people together. Some spark a lot more passion than others or even bickering and fighting but that is one good thing with the Army, we are all pretty lovey dovey and positive ;-D And look us now, we’re all besties hehe! He’s adorably goofy at times which I love ;-D He’s probably my favorite spider-man to date! I’ll be sad when he leaves the role! 😀 But for now, we have him to enjoy!

        I forgot about the Kleenex ones. I’ll see if I can hunt some down. I’m actually a lot more into skincare now more than color cosmetics because I use it up so much faster. I may have also hit peak makeup collection.

        I will bookmark Broomance. I do love a character-based relationship show. I think the payoff has to be earned and be based on character development. The last show that surprised me this way was when I stumbled on Misfits last year. I had missed out when it originally ran. But Simon and Alisha wowed me. Plus it was plenty hot because British TV can be more explicit so that hit all the points as far as I was concerned.

        My theory about some fandoms are that even though they are massive, it seems like a secret club because it’s not mainstream. I know you’re a Doctor Who fan too and I get comments when I wear my TARDIS hoodie. There’s a sense of supporting the underdog.

        Well, it’s only a few days before we can see Spidey again.
