4 stars out of 5

I’m loving Milk Makeup Cooling Water Eye Patches ($22) at the moment. These are actually pretty handy and cool especially if you get in from work and your eyes are looking tired but you’re heading out for dinner with friends and you want to look awake.

Here’s how I use them!

Milk Makeup Cooling Water Eye Patches came out about two months ago! I purchased them Milk’s website when they launched and since that time I’ve hauled another package since I really like them. Each pack contains six pairs of patches which is the equivalent to $3.60 per pair which isn’t too bad a price.

Here’s the thing…!

I have a lot of different eye patches from a variety of Korean brands that I love all of which are very moisturizing! However, Milk Makeup’s patches are a bit different and not really hydrating in my experience with them. These are created with a sort of rubberized cotton that almost feels like a bandage. They have a nice grip under my eyes and don’t slip off the way eye patches with essence do. I tend to use them only when I’m going out for the evening and not as a weekly or daily treatment. Once you apply them they instantly provide a cooling effect which might help puffiness a little bit. I thought they eased my puffiness a smidge but nothing dramatic.

Where they excel is in the fact they seem to smooth the under eye area nicely and almost firm it up. I have finer lines due to dryness and I LOVE how these smooth the area out and how much easier my eye cream applies after I use these and also, how much better my concealer applies. This is in fact why I love these!

If you need a little under eye smoothing these new Milk Makeup Cooling Water Eye Patches might hit the spot! Just don’t experience moisture from them as that’s not something I think they do well!

Where to buy

Sephora

Milk Makeup Cooling Water Eye Patches are a new cooling eye patch that can be worn for 10-15 minutes. Each pack is $22 and has six pairs of eye patches. In my experience with the patches they have a very cool, refreshing feel that doesn’t last out the 15 minute wear time. Initially they feel very cool but after about five minutes the feeling disappears. However, this doesn’t stop them from smoothing my under eye are quite nicely. I didn’t feel like these hydrated much but they do seem to make the skin under my eyes smoother and firmer which seems to help eye cream to absorb more easily and concealer to blend quite nicely! They are a nice pick me up to give eyes a fresher look which makes you look like you had a few extra hours of sleep!
