China Glaze Sesame Street Nail Polishes Are Cool But How About a Groovy Electric Company Collection?

The highly anticipated China Glaze Sesame Street Nail Polish Collection is available today with hues inspired by some of your bestest friends in your childhood life. I was a PBS kid and I’m a PBS adult from Masterpiece Theater to Sesame Street I’ve watched it all not to mention (If you follow me on Twitter you likely know I’m a massive, hardcore Antique Roadshow fan girl too!) I’m a massive contributor to public broadcasting. It’s something I strongly believe in to shape young and old minds alike. So, of course, even though I’m not a nail girl I still LOVE the idea of this adorable China Glaze Sesame Street because who here didn’t grow up watching Sesame Street? I think Sesame Street is like one of my first childhood TV memories! I also remember reruns of Electric Company (imagine some groovy Electric Company Nail Polish Collection? China Glaze has to get on that too!) as well but not as vividly as Sesame Street!

The collection includes 12 gorgeous shades all of which have special, limited edition packaging featuring some of our favorite besties from the show like Ernie and Cookie Monster printed on the caps!

Shades:

  • Groover It (dark blue holographic)
  • Dat Cookie Dough (blue glitter)
  • Living In The Elmo-Ment (red holographic glitter)
  • Fur Real Though (hot pink crème)
  • I Count Even… (purple jelly)
  • Free To Be Sesame (green glitter)
  • Beak On Fleek! (yellow matte)
  • Monsterpiece (magenta holographic)
  • Ah Ah Ah-Mazing (purple metallic)
  • Trash Can-Do Attitude (green silver metallic)
  • Beak on Fleek (matte yellow)
  • I Believe in Snuffy (champagne shimmer)
  • Ernie’s Stripes (orange gold shimmer)

There are a variety of sets available as well one of which is the China Glaze Sesame Street You Do Hue 6 Piece Mini Kit ($15) which includes six shades and will be available at ulta.com shortly.

I think they did a good job with the representing the characters with some of these shades! It’s a fun collection to say the least.

The China Glaze Sesame Street Collection is available now!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. This looks like such a fun collection. Are old old enough to remember the origingal version of The Electric Company? That would be too. Now, I’m thinking about 321 Contact, then later there was Square One and Wishbone.

I remember watching reruns but not watching original runs of the Electric Company. It really is a fun collection! Totally makes gives me feel good vibes 😀

I enjoyed everything you mentioned but my favorite was school house rock and the catchy tunes “conjunction junction, what’s your function”. Lol. I have all of the collection with the exception of the green metallic and the shimmer. I passed on the The Counts color because it was a jelly. I had hoped they do him justice with a strong purple but the went the other way. Beak on Fleek is gorgeous but I added a top coat my mattes seem to chip faster.

LOL I love that ;-D or “I’m just a bill. Yes, I’m only a bill. And I’m sitting here on Capitol Hill.” I’m not much of a nail girl but I feel like I need all of these too!

ABC School House Rock was great. It was the shorts they showed in between the main shows. These shorts became more popular, enduring, and memorable than the main Saturday morning cartoons. I loved them!

Isabella, thanks for this review! I enjoyed this swatch as I love bright, delicious and smooth colours and this collection is all about it! My personal love is Ah Ah Ah-Mazing looks very sexy and stylish the same time! What is your opinion? Which colour was your favourite? Or you can tell about your top3? What’s more can you, please, share how long it was out of chips? Could it last up to a week? I can share online shop where discounted China Glaze now is available 3,00 $US per bottle, here it’s Final question is whether they offer topcoat as well?

Hi Laura thanks for this isn’t a review just a post about the collection 🙂 I didn’t buy any so I didn’t really have a favorite! I’m not much of a nail girl so can’t really speak on the colors or the formula. Not sure on the wear time, etc..! awesome, that’s a great deal! I imagine China Glaze does have a topcoat!
