I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

I’m totally in love with the I Heart Revolution Fruity Blusher and Fruity Highlighter! I want them all, k, thanks! What is it with fruity and makeup that just tickles me? These are so damn adorable. These are an little nod to the Too Faced Tutti Frutti Collection I guess!

There are two versions one is a Fruity Blusher that’s available in Peach and Strawberry and the other is a Fruity Highlighter available in Banana and Pineapple. They aren’t scented sadly but most people aren’t as keen on scented makeup as I am so that’s good news! They are $7 each and available now at Ulta.com! Today you can 5X on any purchases for Diamond and Platinum Members so, it might be a good time to snag these!

P.S. How was your weekend? Did you survive the heat? We went to Boston for the weekend and it wasn’t as bad as the news was saying but when I got home last night holy cow! It was crazy hot! I guess I missed out on the worst of it. During the little road trip I started watching Bromance again! I have SO many things on my “to be watched” list and of course, I end up rewatching a drama I’ve already seen! My excuse is Baron Chen….! If you need something to binge check it out on Netflix!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I knooooow! I was just scoping those blushes last night and they are soooo adorable!

right!? I need them in my life but hopefully they aren’t too frosty!

These are precious. I love strawberry anything, but kind of sad it’s not scented. The heat has been horrible here in Maryland. I work in a food truck and my boss is like, “It looks like you have a milk moustache.” Nope, it’s just my foundation melting off of my upper lip in this 115 degree metal death trap. At least my eyeshadow stayed in place. I’m ready for pumpkin spice weather.

oh my god lol! that’s too funny! What sort of food!? That’s hard work! Try to cool my dear and well hydrated! They sell those wraps on Amazon that you put in the fridge for a few hours, wet them, and you wrap them around your neck and they’ll keep you cool for a few hours! They are super cheap too! I am so ready for PSW!

We sell the usual hot dogs, Polish sausages, all beef dogs, plus burgers, cheese steaks, chicken cheese steaks, and Italian sausages. I have one of those wraps, but it’s been so dang hot that I can’t get it to stay cool for longer than 30 min before I have to wet it again and put it in a freezer. Sticking my head in the freezer helps me the most.

ugh that sounds amazing right now! Haven’t eaten since breakfast ;-D can you make me some of each haha! I bet you are sweltering in there! 🙁 It’s a bit cooler today so I hope you’re hanging in! xoxoxox! haha sticking your head in the freezer sounds good ;-D

I Heart Revolution always has the cutest, most tempting packaging! Better still, the quality is usually pretty good and the prices are always low! I survived the heat thanks to a new central air conditioning system we had installed. Although, I’m not looking forward to the energy bill from those two days of blistering heat!

    • Isabella Muse

Hi Rebecca! Totally agree ;-D I have central AC too and I have Nest. I stupidly, didn’t turn it on as we road home as I assumed it would be a bit cooler when we got in! boy was I wrong lol! My AC guy is always harping on me to leave it on 78 all Summer as it apparently conserves energy vs turning it on or off! I’m still convinced turning it off is best until I am home. Shrug!

You must have been in air conditioned Boston. I live on a hill above one of the major beaches, and my porch thermometer said 100 all w/e. Dogs in within 5 mins and NO WALKS! Thunderstorm Sun night. Well, it’s 57 now. New England weather. BTW, they just had a tornado with significant damage at the Cape, and I’ve been soaked to the skin twice, despite raingear. Already scored the Tutti Frutti pineapple and the Creme Shop Gudetama pot lip for my pineapple friend, who wants the scent. But these are major kawaii.

I was in the city and it felt quite ok! I was surprised as I expected some really bad heat! Oh no! We had a major storm last night too but no damage thankfully. These are adorable too bad no fragrance 😀

Girl, you were in Boston? That’s my stomping ground. Did you order your DD coffee as “medium ice regular?” and check out Back Bay? Newbury Street has everything from Forever 21 to Sephora to Chanel. I recommend stopping at Dirty Water Dough to get slices or a pie halfway down the street (they make cheesy, floppy NYC-slices). Newbury ends at the Boston Public garden. Put a peanut in your front pocket, sit on a bench, and a friendly squirrel is guaranteed to climb onto your shoulder to retrieve it.
Dear lord, I sound like a travel agency, but I do love my city.

P.S. I’m picking up those blushes.
