My Personal Makeup and Beauty Wish List for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2019
Who’s making a Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2019 wish list? I actually haven’t completed my list yet because 1. I’ve been so busy and so stressed at work. Gosh you guys, please send some good vibes my way because work has been crazy this week and 2. I feel like I’m adding way too much into my cart! I mean, I have stuff in there I know I really don’t need and thankfully some logical part of my brain is like, “Ok, think this over before hitting submit!”
I think the past few years the sale has sort of sucked but this year I did feel like there were some extra nice values available which were appealing because they’ll save me quite a bit of money on some staples. Of course, not all my purchases are beauty related though!
What did you get? Anything super awesome you treated yourself too?
Here’s what’s on my list so far!
Ok, I DON’T NEED this but the value is great and I really want it! The this I’m talking about is the Simplehuman Round Sensor Mirror Pro which retails for $250 but is marked down to $150. I already own two Simplehuman Round Sensor Mirrors and I literally love them to death. These things freaking let you see every single nook and cranny on your face and they are really helpful when applying makeup or skincare. Not to mention they are truly well made. Seriously, SimpleHuman does a great job with their designs! Off topic, if you don’t already own a Simplehuman Senor Trash Can with Voice Activation you’re missing out!
I wanted this mirror for a whole and was hopeful a holiday sale would push me into the purchase but the 20% that was offered during the Holidays still wasn’t quite good enough to make me take the jump! But the $100 mark down definitely has me leaning towards saying yes! It offers 5x magnification with a 10x magnification with a small detailed mirror that stores in the back and can be attached to the front of the mirror. You can also pair it with your phone for different light settings. The mirror recreates the lighting around you which might just make getting your foundation shade right easier!
Don’t mind me I’m convincing myself here I need to buy it. I’m also concerned it’ll sell out fast as last year the deal they had on a Simple Human Mirror went fast! Yeah, ok I think I’m done convincing myself 🙂
We all know I have dry as the desert heat skin! I’m a rather big fan of using a sponge and apply a bit of Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base Priming Moisturizer to prep with. It really makes foundation application super smooth and even! I’m grabbing the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base Priming Moisturizer Duo which is $60. A single jar is $30 which makes this a buy, get 1 free sort of deal. I could def get through two jars but my bestie and I are going in as together purchase so, instead of a free jar I’m snagging a jar at 50% off. He’ll pay $30 and I’ll pay $30! I already have a half full jar so, I really don’t need two full ones at the moment! This was a great solution for me ;-D
A big, big, big love for me is the Bobbi Brown Instant Glow Lip & Highlighter Set for $35! I don’t have this Shimmerbrick shade and I really think it looks amazing! Maybe I can get a pretty peach glow from it! This is a must on my list.
One I did want but I missed out on was the Becca Rose Glow Kit! I hope this one comes back in stock at some point!
Another really awesome pick up that I MUST have is the MAC Lip Haul Set! I’m in lust with nude lipstick and lipgloss everything lately and this set has some great shades, all full-size, that look like they might work for me! It’s $59 but contains well over $90 worth of MAC Lipstick and Lipgloss making it a great deal for nude lip lovers!
Speaking of lipstick! I’m reading for Fall and I don’t have any of the shades in the YSL Nude Lip Trio ($79) so, this also made my wish list cut! It includes three full-size YSL Lipsticks in a chic black makeup bag! The shades are traditional nudes but more darker nudes and dusky roses which will make for some pretty Fall lip looks!
I also have the Charlotte Tilbury Easy Portable Pocket Sized Smoky Eye Palette on my wish list. This one I’m still deciding on! It contains six shades but I feel like they run a little cooler so, I’m still deciding if I need this. Anyone getting it?
I think that’s it so far! Hopefully nothing else tempts me too hard.
