Three New Shades of Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Foil Finger Paint Trio Palettes Have Launched and I Need Them All

Oh my god! There are three new shades of Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Foil Finger Paint Trio Palettes available at the moment and I’m dying over here. If you recall Tarte released the first Foil Finger Paints Shadow Palette for Spring 2018 and I loved it. It’s a great formula!

Tarte Foil Finger Paints Shadow Palette Swatches (Gold Coast, Salior’s Delight, Sea Glass)

That up there is me enjoying the original palette!

And now we have three new ones? Sign me up! Creamy texture, easy to blend, outstanding pigment, what’s not to love? The fact they expanded the collection to include three new Foil Finger Paint Eyeshadow Palettes is pretty exciting news!

Ok, so there’s one catch. Each of the trios contains two foil eyeshadows and one gel glitter topper. Anyone groan? I assume the glitter topper is the same as the ones found in the new Tarte High Tides & Good Vibes Eyeshadow Palette. I wasn’t really loving those glitters in all honesty but maybe the creamy foils will hold the glitter on my lid better so, I’m not completely writing these lovely little trios off.

Shades:

  • Lunar
  • Milky Way
  • Bahamas

I’ll be hauling these little guys soon!

Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Foil Finger Paint Trio Palettes are $25 each and available now.

Absolutely beautiful, I love shimmery shadows, as long as there isn’t much fallout (Urbran Decay Mowie Wowie=hot mess:( So I have to ask, ” Did you use your fingers to apply?” The name is catchy and packaged without a cheap applicator, I’m guessing they are encouraging you to A) use your fingers or B) use a eyeshadow brush you already own? I’m guilty of dipping my bacteria fingers into creamy eyeshadow pots because they just apply better when you use your fingers, it melts into the skin better as Pat McGrath would say. If she doesn’t follow the cleanliness rules it must be ok-haha

I do indeed and no fall out because they are cream ;-D The finger method is best but I def feel like that’s a bacteria issue since I’m a germ a phobe ;-D Best part is to dip a q-tip, brush, or sponge applicator into the pan and swipe the color to your finger. I just find it easier to blend with my fingers. You can always swipe your brush in, apply on your lid, and blend with your finger if you like as well! LOL yeah! Because Pat his Mother isn’t she!? ;-D

I wonder if these will dry out in cardboard packaging? I feel like it won’t be as tightly sealed as the first palette!

    Hi Isabella,

I bought that last palette with the three shades and the split pan. I love them. I use the split pan one as glitter on my decollete. I saw them in Sephora last year and didn’t hear anyone talk about them. The shadows are beautiful and have to be applied with your finger.

Yeah, that formula is great and I normally don’t do creams! They applied well for me using densely packed brushes too!!
