Why didn’t I see Charlotte Tilbury Magic Vanish Color Corrector during the Sephora Beauty Insider Event? Damn! None the less, I want to try this!

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Vanish Color Corrector is a new full-coverage color corrector that brightens the appearance of the under eye area. This contains the legendary red shade that works to conceal dark circles on deeper skin tones and it’s also available in three other shades from light, medium, to tan.

According to the brand it’s full-coverage with a natural finish that has a matte finish. Shoot they lost me at matte but maybe just maybe it’ll work out for me!

Shades:

  • Fair for pink for light skintones
  • Medium for peach for light/medium skintones
  • Tan for orange for deep skintones
  • Deep for papaya for deep skintones

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Vanish Color Corrector is $32 and available now!

It became available at Sephora right after the sale ended. I’d love to see a review that compares this to the Bobbi Browan corrector!

I dunno about correcting shit but that looks like some gorgeous cheek shades.

I love this corrector. I bought it originally in Fair, then went back and also ordered Medium. They were not yet in a store near me so I was judging from colors online and recommendations on the Charlotte Tilbury website. I had purchased the new Airbrush Flawless Foundation in shade 4 Neutral and it’s a perfect match. When using the Fair corrector, it does correct the dark circles incredibly well, but I thought I would try the medium shade to see how that would look. When I use the shade Medium, it’s really not much different from the Fair. Both Fair and Medium are so close in color that if you think you are somewhere in between, you’re safe to use either shade. They are very, very close, to the point where I thought maybe they sent me the wrong shade in one of my orders. No matter, though. I will use them both and they will just last me twice as long, that’s all. Whenever I run out, I will repurchase. Nothing covers as well as these, plus although it’s a matte finish, it is not drying at all and I do have dry under eyes. It also does not crease. I’m not sure if I absolutely have to set it, but I’m in the habit of using a little bit of a light powder or setting spray on a sponge to set my makeup but with either method, it still doesn’t crease and wears all day. I hope you get to try it soon, if you haven’t already!

Thanks for the review Leah! It was super helpful!!!!!!!!!!! I wasn’t sure which shade to grab but I think I’ll go with Medium as a safe bet. Do you use it along with concealer or just by itself?

I use it just by itself. You can use concealer on top of it, but in my opinion, why would I bother adding more layers if it’s not necessary? It is very smooth and creamy, applies best with fingers, and has full coverage with a lightweight feel. The only time I would suggest using concealer on top is if the shade looked wrong, such as too pink or peach or orange or red, depending on the shade of the product and an individuals own skin tone. In that case, whatever concealer you use will work even better than it did before. I have tried several different concealers over it but for me it was an extra unnecessary step. You can totally add concealer if you want to. Of course the Charlotte Tilbury concealer is beautiful and goes well on top, but any concealer would work, I’m sure. I hope you love it as much as I do.
