“She’s just a devil woman with evil on her mind…!” Dior Addict Lacquer Stick in Poisonous is my new Fall lipstick of choice.

I remember when Pearl Jam was all the rage. I remember when plaid was a fashion statement. I remember some sort of event we had at school and my friend stepping on the stage to sing Jeremy and being blown away by her performance. I had no idea she could sing like that.

And most importantly, I remember when brown lipstick was an important staple in everyone’s makeup wardrobe.

Dior Dior Addict Lacquer Stick in Poisonous is described as a milk chocolate but to me it isn’t. I don’t do browns really well to be honest! If it was a milk chocolate brown I’d probably hate it. It does look like a pretty milky chocolatey in the barrel but it applies more like a caramel chocolate on my lips! Sort of like you took your favorite bar of milk chocolate and dipped it into a rich caramel! It looks beautiful on lips and it’s very, very wearable.

The shade is great for Fall looks and just in general but the formula is to die for as well!

Dior Addict Lacquer is beautifully textured and such a refreshing change from all the never ending mattes! The texture is soft with an easy glide on lips that leaves behind a lightly hydrating feel and nice shiny finish. It wears well for four hours and feels lightly moisturizing and the shine lasts for quite a while! It does have a subtle fragrance and flavor that I can’t quite point my finger on! Sort of vanilla I guess! I didn’t mind it but sensitive users might not love it.

This is a gorgeous shade and formula that’s well worth picking up if you’re looking for a new Fall lip color!

Dior Addict Lacquer Stick in Poisonous is available now!

Looks great on you so I may have to get it… Brown lip color seems to make the rounds every generation or so – I remember it from the 70s, when I was just getting into makeup.

thank you! <3! It seems like it always makes a come back for Fall. But I've been sort of loving the shade for Summer looks too 😀

Muse, have you had any problems with the packaging on the Lacquer Sticks? I have one and when I swiveled it up a bit, it wouldn’t go back down. So now whenever I close it with the cap, lipstick gets all over the inside of the cap and it’s a mess. Such a waste and it was pretty pricey…

That might be a fluke Jamie! I have five of them and none have that issue. I’d highly advise returning and requesting a new one! Where did you buy? Both Nordstrom and Sephora have excellent return polices!

Unfortunately I think I bought it from Macy’s and the return by date has already passed :(.

        • Isabella Muse

oh no! it hasn’t! Macy’s doesn’t have an expiration date on returns! You can return something five years later and they don’t care!

You could buy a new one and return this o e with the receipt of the new one. Who’d know 😉

I love shades like this, u can wear them every day and not need a mirror to apply. But I like a more natural lip.
